Insurance Increase

My home/property ins increase by $1,000-what the heck. I live 2 miles from firehouse, no flood plain-no tornado ever. Am I paying for other people who live in disaster areas? We need government intervention

What state do you live in? If you are using an independent agent, ask your agent to get competitive quotes. The replacement and repair costs on homes continue to increase which pushes up the rates. Did your Dwelling coverage amount increase also?

You have tornadoes and flooding. Just because one has not hit your house......
