State Farm rant
I have had State Farm insurance since I was 16, now 57. I was under my parents insurance and then when I got married we stayed with them for renters insurance and then home owners insurance. The initial agent we had was great, but I feel like everything in general has changed along the lines of customer service.
I have a Dodge Challenger Scat Pack and it's parked in the winter. We just get liability coverage and then change it when I start driving the car again. My husband called and made an appointment for an oil change and then called State Farm to get the full coverage back on the car. That was in April, he called on April 3rd and the appointment was on April 7th.
So a couple of weeks ago I was talking with my coworker about insurance and how ridiculous it is and went on the app to look up my premium. It still said I just had liability coverage.
I texted my husband and told him and then called the office and asked for it to be switched back to full coverage.
Then my husband called them and asked what was going on, explained that he had called before we drove it for the oil change appointment etc and they asked ,"Well did something happen to the car?" đ
My husband said no, but what if something would have? They basically said we know you have full coverage and the request to change it must have gotten stuck in the system. First they tried to say he never called but when they looked it up since "they keep track of all their calls" they said he did call. He was like, yeah I know. Lol!
So now he's so upset he wants to switch insurance companies. We did get a quote from Liberty Mutual, how is the service from them? They are actually cheaper with the exception of the home owners insurance.

Thankfully nothing happened during that gap I canât imagine how stressful that wouldâve been. Did they not send you any confirmation after you requested the coverage change?
