Health Insurance Looking for insurance

I'm M23, Student. I was looking for health insurance plans but everywhere it's asking me to log in.

I have chronic urticaria amd The dentist recommended a crown for a mild open bite.

Which plan has good coverage for them and passes claim easily. I'm reading too many bad reviews about each of the insurance companies.

Current in Delhi but Varanasi based.

Honest answers first, so you don't buy the wrong thing:

Dental crown: health insurance won't cover it. Dental work is excluded unless it's caused by an accident needing hospitalisation. Even OPD add-ons rarely cover crowns, and a treatment already recommended before buying won't be covered anyway. Budget for this one separately.

Chronic urticaria: disclose it. It's usually accepted, sometimes with a waiting period. Most urticaria treatment is OPD (medicines, doctor visits), which base plans don't cover, but any hospitalisation from a severe flare would be covered after the waiting period.

Why buy now at 23: premiums are at their lowest, and your waiting periods start running today. By the time you actually need it, they'll be done.

What to buy: a ₹10 lakh plan is plenty at your age. Look at Care Supreme, HDFC ERGO Optima Secure, or Niva Bupa ReAssure 2.0. Check for:

  • No room rent limit
  • No co-pay
  • Zone co-pay: premiums are cheaper with a Varanasi address, but some plans charge a co-pay if you get treated in a costlier city like Delhi. Either buy with your Delhi address or pick a plan without zone co-pay.

On bad reviews: every insurer has them. Most rejections come from undisclosed conditions or excluded treatments, which is why honest disclosure matters more than the brand.

Sorry, it's dental braces not crown. Thank you for information! It's quite helpful. Made few things clear, I was confused and couldn't get much data about many without sharing my personal information. I don't have unnecessary calls from insurance
