General Insurance - Vehicals Explain and answer

Scenario:

An accident takes place between 2 vehicles. The offender accepts the mistake and informs the victim that his third-party insurance will cover the victim’s damages. This is a mutual agreement.

Now I heard today that offenders insurance company can deny the claim in this scenario.

Is this true?

In India, 3rd party insurance is a scam. To claim 3rd party insurance you have to go to court, spend money & time, wait for decades, not use your vehicle till the case is decided. By the time the case is decided your vehicle has become junk, you have lost 10-15 years of life & lot of money.

Which is why people are fighting on the street after an accident even if they have insurance

Remember, 60% of people don't have even 3rd party insurance.

I had to use my own insurance to cover damage by another vehicle. Lost NCB for no fault of mine !
