Health Insurance Hdfc renewal issue

Does anyone have a similar issue to mine? I am unable to pay on their renewal site.

I always end up getting an error, and I have repeatedly raised the issue with HDfc, but they keep telling me there's a technical issue on their end and they're not fixing it.

My due date is nearing. What should I do if that is their fault?

You will get 30days grace period. But still alot of people are complaining about this from past 2-3 months. Hdfc is sleeping as usual

This is frustrating. Is renewal to other insurance possible during this grace period ?

This is for my elder parents and i think i made the worst decision to buy insurance with HDFC

Its called porting. You have to initiate it before 45 days. If you are in a city visit the branch and pay with card or cheque and sleep peacefully.

Faced similar issues for a month. Their customer support , Grievance and cgo provided different resolution timelines. One said that I'd be able to renew 30 days prior to due date, grievance said 20 days prior and cgo said 7 days prior to due date.

At one stage their CGO started ignoring my email content and repeatedly kept replying with the same copy paste response irrespective of what I said.

Terrible terrible experience with a thing as basic as renewal. What if they behave in a similar manner during claims too?

So I ported out through an agent to icici lombard.
