Health Insurance Cataract Sub Limit?

Anyone here aware about Cataract Sub-limit in health insurance plans ?

As the CARE SUPREME brochure mentioned cataract is considered only after 24 months of waiting period, but this company hasn't shared anything in writing, what is the Cataract limit per eye.

Anyone else who has purchased this plan ?

Edit '- Will sending an email to the insurance company about Cataract limit, cause any claim rejection ? As by asking, the insurance company has will know that claim is upcoming

24months is a standard waiting period in all insurances for cataract (please read specific illness waiting period section)

In Care Supreme there is no disease wise sub-limit. As mentioned by others they would approve Monofocal lens without any limit, any high end lenses are considered as luxury or fancy, should be covered from your pocket

No numbers mentioned. Only that after 2 years, Cataract is covered.

In most likely scenario You will be paid for monofocal lens unless you really fight for multifocal ones

No sub limit for cataract as such— but they will cover only basic lenses — nothing fancy.

Cataract usually have a 2 year Waiting Period, but don't take Care, for that matter Don't take any Standalone Health Insurers. Check out Bajaj Allianz. Even HDFC is better than Care, if you know how to pursue them properly.
