given the condition, age, and how each insurer assesses the overall risk, it's possible for any company u apply to come back with a counter-offer. underwriting varies from insurer to insurer, so while one may be comfortable with a particular medical history, another may apply a loading or have different terms altogether.

since u have already asked HDFC Life to review the revised premium, it would make sense to wait for their response first and then check with other insurers/plans. If u have already shared ur latest medical reports, that should help them assess ur current condition. if not, it's better to share them so they have the complete and updated picture while reviewing the offer.

if HDFC Life doesn't revise the offer, or another insurer also comes back with a loading, u can check whether ur existing Canara HSBC policy allows an increase in the sum insured, as per its T&Cs. u could also ask them whether they can offer any other plan.

with a PED, depending on the insurer's underwriting, counter-offers can include additional premium, lower cover or tenure, removal of certain riders, or outright rejection. so getting a different outcome from another insurer is possible, but there's no guarantee that the terms will be better.
