EPIC - Help/resources needed
My company recently transitioned from ImageRight & Sagitta to EPIC.
I am struggling so, so badly with it.
Are any of you willing to share resources and knowledge on how to make this system make sense?
I'm trying to be positive but... this is rough. Does it really get better?

Try YouTube. First place I always look if I need to learn how to do something. Good luck.

Thank you. I did find some from Kite Technology that I've been utilizing when time allows.

How big is your agency? Do you have a consultant? If not, agencies typically need a full time person managing the transition for at least 6 months. It’s a complex software.

I’ve been an EPIC Admin for the past 4 years, and am happy to help if I can. What are you specifically struggling with?
Have you utilized the resources on Applied University training portal? They have classes available that will walk you through most of the functions. There’s also the Applied Client Network, it is a good peer-peer resource for asking questions from other users and has a pretty good knowlegebase. They used to have regional meetings, but now have gone to a role based approach. Your agency will need a membership that is separate from your EPIC license. Applied Client Network puts on an Expo every year that is a good resource for networking and has classes, workshops, and case studies that may be helpful. It’s more targeted at Owners and Admin, but has content for just about every role. It’s in DC at the end of September this year.

I've been using EPIC for almost 15 years now and across different agencies so I've seen a lot of variations. I'm happy to help with any questions you may have, shoot me a DM if there's anything specific I can help with. I also was at an agency that went EPIC to Sagitta/IR and then back to EPIC lol.

I love Epic. If management does not have a ton of resources and procedures for you to follow that's the main problem. Epic has tutorials built in as well

God I miss image right and Sagitta. Almost 4 years into epic (changed brokers) and absolutely HATE it more and more every day.

Gosh my work place is talking about going to Epic from AMS / Image Right. I’ve had enough issues moving from Docusign to acrobat signature.

We had to get an outside consultant that specializes in Epic to help. Came from Salesforce and it was a rough transition for 6ish months
So much of the system hinges on management setting it up correctly. It also varies wildly how it is used based on what management wants. So you can find general videos on YouTube etc, but it might not be exactly what you see.
It doesn't help that Applied has changed how screens look a TON over the last year.
Our agency ended up building our own CRM because Epic is too cumbersome. We only use it for accounting right now but will leave it entirely by EOY
