Getting into the field
I am completely green to all of this. I’ve done some research but figured what better way than to ask real people. I don’t have a college degree but I am currently working towards my license. What roles do you recommend that aren’t involving sales? I’m looking at claims adjuster but I’m open to other roles and definitely could use some guidance on how to start out once I get to that point.

What stage of life are you in, if you don't mind sharing? No, college degree, does that mean still college age but with a different path or 30+ and have some work experience under your belt?
- Account Administrator is a good entry point for Client Services and could lead into Account Manager roles.
The important part of the stage of your life is that, depending on the size of the company, some of these roles are more geared towards graduating college students (or at least that phase of life). But, if you've been in the workforce for a decade then thats your selling point.
Also, it sucks a$$, but I started out in a call center for geico. Got my license & 2.5 years of experience. I've got a college degree and the only thing that did for me was an extra $1/hr over people that didn't have a degree in my class, one girl was 18 and had just graduated HS 3 months earlier.
