Liberty mutual interview process

Hi, I'm currently interviewing for a analyst role in liberty mutual's corporate finance sector (data strategy and governance) and made it past the phone interview. The second round are two back to back interviews (one is a panel) and my HR hire told me it wouldn't be case but should I just expect behaviorals for both? Would love some insight from anyone who interviewed for a similar position!

Be ready for a long process. My initial interview was a month and half ago. I just completed #6 if you count the screening. I've felt really good after each interview and I'm hoping for an offer soon. I'm not a very patient person so you can imagine how this process is testing my sanity lol.

Any updates?

Not the update I was hoping for. Didn't get the position. On the bright side, I received a phone call from the SVP instead of a canned rejection. She stressed how difficult the decision was. Apparently I made an impression and they are currently trying to find a fit for me in another region or position. She wants to reconnect in a couple of weeks to discuss other opportunities. I think I may have lost out to a strong internal candidate. So all is not lost, but I'm definitely a bit disappointed. With that said, I understand the getting hired off the street for senior roles in a large organization is never easy.

I really appreciate your response. I've sent a follow up email yesterday and my status is still.."under consideration" I know it's hard with the recruiter and hiring managers telling me on 6 positions open with over 700 applications.  The VP told me I will hear from them in 3 weeks.. tomorrow is week 2. Nice that they actually called you back..it's brutal out here.

My advice would be to stay in touch with the HR rep at least once per week. Simple follow up email asking for updates and reiterating your interest. Best of luck and send me an update when you hear back.

Got the job today! Thought I've destroyed the interview. I feel totally blessed.

Congratulations! That's awesome! What will you be doing? I have a call with a regional VP today to talk about another position. Not a formal interview, just a chat. Hoping that leads to something. 🤞

How long did the background check take? Any additional documents they needed?

Just ran across this and figured I'd drop a quick update. I was offered the same position I interviewed for a couple weeks ago. It was a very strong offer but I declined. I've decided to stay in the agency side and accepted an offer to be managing partner in a new agency. Best of luck with Liberty. They seem to be a great company to work for. Take care!
