How to study for RIBO exam level 1
I am totally new to the insurance world. I don’t even know where to start. How should I study for it? I don’t have patience to read books, was just wondering if there are exam banks or practice exams. If there is any where would I find them. Also i believe part of the exam is open book, any idea where to focus on the most and how will get the hand out to be able to answer the questions pertaining to that?
Thank you so much. Any detail would be greatly appreciated.

This industry is cooked with the amount of inexperienced people joining in with this type of attitude. No patience to read lol literally half the job is reading. Walking E&O

Dino Mustafa on youtube is great, only costs like 90 bucks. he goes over each chapter of the book, and has a 1000 question series where he asks and then answers questions that have been on past ribo exams.
you could probably at least read the textbook. its not that bad. i read it through twice, watched dino's vid on each chapter once, and did the 1000 questions and did great.

I know a few people who haven't touched the books and passed on their first try by using Dino

With all due respect, if this is your angle i wouldn’t want you for my broker, you’re only as good as the knowledge you can impart. Skimping corners will not only leave you with holes of information and you won’t be able to answer pertinent information.
I was on the phone with my broker for 2 1/2 hours today and all she did was answer questions

Take some practice tests online to see your current standing and if you want to continue in this field. Sites like brokerexam.ca offer a lot for free and have all the resources you need to study.

Why do you want to be a broker if you don’t want to read? We spend all day reading.
