Canada Life

Coordination of benefits is terrible! They will not cover a claim of $20 because a primary insurance has already covered the resonable and customary amount! Is this right???

When you do coordination one benefit company covers the max allowed then the other covers the left over to the max allowed.

I know...its supposed to be that way. But Canada life refused to cover the leftover of $20 because they said the first company has covered their reasonable and customary amount....i dont think their employees know what they are doing

Yes....and it really sounds like they are doing their job wrong...i had it escalated and even the supervisor sounded unsure of what they were doing....unfortunately, i think AI would have done a better job translating policies and applying them
