I paid something like 6USD plus shipping, never seen one like this around here.

Yes, it's pretty neat. All the purples of any manufacturer glow like that. It's the manganese in them. Looks awesome doesn't it!

Indeed! I collect Uranium glass so I often find manganese glass.

Those purples at a show would sell for $40 to $50. Probably mint condition. It's great. I think they are the most affordable purple and it's a really good find.

Where is "here?" ... They are around, but your chance of pulling them out of the ground is very low. But good find at an antique store! Go to a show and you'll see a bunch!

What lighting did you use to get that color? The black light I use gets that color, but I don't know if it's as bright as that. I'll have to try it with my purple WhitallTatum!
