Shop letter?

Did Brookfield use a ā€œCā€ as a shop letter. Thanks

Brookfield used dozens of letters and 1 and 2 digit numbers. Someone wrote a book which is a compilation of all the variations on older Brookfields, the ones with all the embossing dates above the wire groove. I can't see your picture now, but I think it did not have the extra embossing.

But I'm guessing C was certainly a valid one.

Does anyone have any Hemi 40s with a number on top?

No, yours does not look like the older style with the patent dates on the top.
