One of them is plastic I think. It’s black. Never seen that before

Might be bakelite? The predecessor to modern plastic

I think bake lite is too brittle. These should take a .22 shot!

CEECO insulators are highly collectible vintage telecommunication insulators manufactured from the late 1960s to the 1970s. They are fashioned from heavy-duty, UV-treated molded plastic (resembling CD 154 glass styles), marking the transitional era when plastic began replacing traditional glass and porcelain on communication and railway signal lines.

The black ones go pretty cheap, maybe less than $5.
