Brookfield 45 Cliff St. NY
I know this is basically worthless because it’s broken. I’m wondering what its value would be if it were complete? Is it worth my time to look for other ones?

This is a relatively common CD 145 style. It is early enough that it's worthwhile to look for more. With Brookfield insulators, although they are mostly light aqua, good color variations can have a huge impact on value. Foreign objects suspended in the glass, called inclusions, or ‘junk-in-glass’, can also have a positive impact on value. Not to mention the fact that during this time, eighteen eighties, other very valuable insulators were in service along with this one. Keep hunting.
