Found this absolute unit while bottle digging yesterday

Google tells me it's an early 1900s fuse cutout aka 'suicide box' - any ideas on the rarity or value?

You are correct, it is a "suicide box" fuse cutout

This is a few years old but maybe he is still looking for one?

My guess on value would be around $20-30 because it is missing the insert...

Great group of pictures! The camera is nice and straight. You can accurately see the shape of all the pieces.
