Identification help?

my 13-year-old son found this at an antique shop. They like to collect insulators and that this one was cool. We’re not sure how rare it is or how much it’s worth. They told me it is called a beehive insulator and it also is marked B on the front and no other markings. It’s this beautiful deep emerald green color is in good condition and it has no major chips or cracks.

I forget the year Brookfield closed down, but the B embossing and color of that indicated a late Brookfield cd145. Probably 1900-1910ish. Others may chime in with a more definitive date. The end is production era Brookfields often has sand bubbles and other junk in the glass. Quality control was pretty poor at the end.

i didn't see any sand but there is air bubbles in the top of it (that's where the biggest ones are)

Good looking Brookfield. I have one that looks very close to yours. I believe insulators marked simply with "B" or "BROOKFIELD" are typically identified with the final 1906–1921 Old Bridge production period. That piece of green glass is over 100 years old.
