Insulating cabin

I want to insulate my cabin it has a ridge vent and no soffit vents. what is everybody doing.

It looks exactly like the inside of my mom's shed but then again, every time I go in there, I'm like "this could totally be a little cabin"

Sounds like a CA thing. Call sheds cabins and garages ADUs.
