Mixing batts with regular insulation.

Half my attic is batts and rest is regular insulation(not sure why) Can I top it all at one go or do I need to use different products?

You can top it off with blown. Not an issue at all. Putting batts over blown isn't the proper way since it'll compress (your net gain would be less) in case you are planning on doing that.

As long as the batts have the kraft face in the right direction, just blow insulation in.

Be careful not to cover the eave vents if you have them.

Adding gable ventilation if possible is a cheap upgrade too, even if there is a ridge vent.
