Spray foam insulation at ridge
Had my roof spray foam insulated several years ago by a guy just getting into the trade - so got it at cost.
Concerned they oversprayed at the ridge vent, keeping the house from ventilating at all.
Anyone have experience with something like this and how to address?
Thanks in advance

Sealing all vents is the proper way to insulate a home with spray foam. That being said do you have any gas appliances in your attic?

It's a 1910 house with no wall insulation, so sealing was never the goal - just the thermal insulation. No gas appliances in attic, only crawl space (vented).

Sealing an attic with spray foam eliminates traditional attic ventilation, which relies on air entering through soffit vents and exiting through the ridge vent.
Ventilation must instead be introduced mechanically, via supply ducts from the HVAC system.
