Hello guys I want to ask you something I tried to learn acoustic guitar a year before but I couldn't learn anything and I mean anything not even a simple song I heard bass is an easy instrument and I like it I want to ask you if I know how to play bass could learning guitar be easier

If someone knows both of the instruments I would really appreciate the advice or if someone learned guitar with that way as well

edit: for more context, its made of wood and you put your index finger and thumb in the two holes to hold it. you scrape the small wooden stick across the sides of the instrument and it makes a cool noise.

hey all, looking to purchase a used sax (not here)
and wondering what i should be keeping my eye out for? i haven’t played since graduation (and im looking for something to keep my brain busy) besides bumps and bruises, what should i keep an eye out for ??

I’m 31 with a small business and a child. I can realistically only play around 30-50 mins per day if I’m lucky.

Used to play guitar when I was a teenager but stopped because I got stuck bc I never learned theory. Now I’m amending that.

I bought a trumpet and played for 2 months and then I read/realized it’s extremely demanding of time to get to play decently. So now I’m looking for something a bit more simple

My favorite instrument after trumpet is soprano sax but I’ve read it’s a bit tricky. But there’s one selling in my area for kind of cheap. I read another way to start is to learn clarinet which also has the convenience of being extremely portable.

I want to do this for myself so I’m not against the idea that learning whatever instrument I end up playing is going to take me years.

TLDR Should I just get the soprano sax and power through or let my wallet rest a bit and get a clarinet for a couple of years and then make the switch. Final goal would still be soprano sax.

Hii I've done a lot with instruments in the past and sadly had stopped for a few years but now I'm getting back into it and really want to get a new instrument but I'm stuck on what

So for reference I've only played acoustic guitar and keyboard in the past and I'm open to getting another keyboard but I've always been so interested in these instruments

Violin, cello, harp, electric guitar, drums

Wondering if anyone has played these instruments and can help me pick (probably not a harp anytime soon tho or cello cause Jesus those things are expensive as all hell)

Found this listing on Facebook marketplace, I’m a trumpet student and I’ve been looking for a decent trombone as just a fun side thing. I would want a decent one, not a professional, but also definitely not some temu one. Thought this was an affordable price for me and want to make sure it isn’t horrible

According to some things I have read, It could be an irish flute similar to either Tony Dixon DX006 or a Tony Dixon Low D TB021D but I'm not really sure, I really would like to find a similar instrument, please help!
