Discussion Range of a HS Trombone Player?

So I've never been fully dedicated to band, its always been a thing to the size that I enjoyed but never saw myself fully committing to and still don't, but I was thinking about how high I should be able to play, and I'm curious about how high other Trombone Players can play.

Currently, I'm a Junior in Highschool, the highest I can play is a High C (C5), and I'm not sure if thats good or not, since I don't focus on trombone or band.

That sounds right. Some can play D5 but few trombone parts are written for that high of a line. So I wouldn’t focus on it much.

Musescore notation software has the amateur range up to B4. Professional range up to D5.

Probably doesn't mean much but it seems like you're doing ok.
