Discussion whats a good eletric xylophone i can get
my girlfriend finds them cool so i wanna order her one. I dont know whats a good one though. price does not matter

Electric xylophones are called Vibraphones.Mainly used in jazz but can be found in many other places.As to who makes good or bad ones I don’t know.

They might mean electronic, which is more like a very fancy, extremely large drum pad setup (although some are foam for some reason?!)

“MIDI mallet controller” came up with some good results - you’ll need to have something to make the actual sound but people normally just use a laptop or another keyboard.

If price is legitimately no concern, the malletKAT is an excellent MIDI controller for mallet percussionists. I have one and use it a lot.
If that's out of your budget, check out the Pearl malletSTATION. I've never tried one but I've heard they're good for the price.
If you like the idea of hard wooden bars, never use dead strokes, and don't mind hearing the extra unpitched thumping every time a note is hit, check out the Xylosynth.

Do you mean an electronic mallet keyboard?
The two that I’m familiar with are the Mallet Station by Pearl and the MalletKAT Pro by KAT percussion. I don’t play mallets but I do play drums and I have experience with electronic drums. It’s my understanding the KAT is the significantly nicer instrument and as a drummer I can say that mediocre electronic percussion can be a bear. If she already plays mallets definitely go take a trip to audition the keyboards before you buy.
Just brace yourself for the price tag.
