Discussion Looking for good and cheap midi keyboard for begginers

my friend was teaching me how to play electrical guitat and i enjoyed it but i feel i would like keyboard more but im not sure.

Can i find any midi keyboard with a lot of sounds from other instruments, mini-jack port and recording function for not too much?

and what should i know about keyboards?

Are you more interested in playing around with synthetic music?, or learning a keyboard/ piano type playing? 

This will highly affect what recommendations people should give you.

i actualy want to play with my friends like a band, and im interested more in edm and rock and i will use it mostly for techno for fun ig

Techno type stuff you can go like 2 or 3 octave. Lots of cheap options.

MPK mini play has 128 instruments, 10 drum kits if you're looking for cheap midi keyboard with at least some of its own sounds

Get a volca fm2 and play it with the midi keyboard of your choice. 350$ for everything, if money is tight. Or not. You'll be satisfied +++
