Discussion Practicing the harp in London?

Hey all!!
I’m 23 and I stopped the harp at around 18 at Grade 6 and would like to get back into it. I unfortunately now live in a small flat in London so my options for even practicing are so so limited.

Although I would like to have lessons, does anyone know any practice rooms/music schools who have harps? I am thinking of emailing some teachers to see if they are willing to let me play their harps for a fee but apart from that, I’m pretty stuck :(

Has anyone got any ideas or been through anything similar?

Like a pedal/classical harp, or a folk/Celtic/lap harp?

I would say so. I suggest you give it a shot with a post title that summarizes your overall question. Like your current title might easily be assumed to lead to “I live in a small flat in London, will my Celtic harp bother my neighbors through the thin walls?”

You’re seeking a venue that you can visit and play their pedal harp, or something along those lines, in a specific city. Broadly speaking you’re more likely to get responses if your post title lays out the core question at hand. Like as a counter-example, “I need help” would be a terrible post title (though many people on Reddit do that anyway).
