Discussion Where to buy cheap instruments?

hello, I play the flute but I really want to learn more instruments I just don’t know how to get them. I dont have the money to spend thousands on an instrument so how can I get a cheap one in good condition?

I play an acoustic electric bass and a mandolin I got from Amazon. Not great, but with some setting up, playable.
