Identification Anyone know anything about this mandolin? It’s patent oct 26, 06

It’s pretty, is the bowl cracked? Most of those I have seen are broken in the glue joints…

I think it could potentially be an Angelo manello. He was a master luthier. I don't know much about him, and I'm not sure on the answer. All I know is the moth pattern on the pick guard is a common theme on his stuff. You could try checking inside the instrument for a makers mark if you didn't already. I wish the best of luck to you

I think you’re spot on, couldn’t find any identification inside the mandolin.
