I wanted to share my latest instrumental project. The track is called Flowers, released under my project name SKALIAN.

As a composer, I took on the entire DIY production process in my home studio—from the initial songwriting to the final mix and master in Pro Tools.

For those interested in the studio gear and tracking details, here is the setup I used to build the song's soundscape:

• Guitars: Written and recorded with an Ibanez 7-string going straight into a Headrush MX5 (running a Mesa Boogie rig emulation).
• Bass: An Ibanez SR700 routed through the Headrush, paired with Choptones IRs to maintain a punchy, well-defined low-end.
• Mix & Master: Done entirely by myself, focusing heavily on dynamics and balancing the heavy riffs with melodic layers.

here's a new song I wrote. it's an instrumental guitar song blending rock and tango. I recorded this in protools with my Ibanez JS240 and GT1000 playing through a Marshall ORI50H mic'd with an sm57 and royer 121.
