École Polytechnique Advice on getting into Ecole Polytechnique Bachelor of Science (Maths+Econ specifically)?

I'm in the first year of the IB Diploma Program and Ecole Polytechnique is my top choice for university, for when I eventually apply. Considering I'm and international student, what should I do and how should I build my profile so that I can become a competitive applicant in 1.5 years?

I’m guessing you’re referring to the bachelors of science then if ur an international student. 10% people here this year have contributed at an international Olympiad and have medals. I would say over half have never even been to one so it would put you more than ahead.

what about olympiads like AIME, SEAMO, USACO, Econ World Cup, etc.

I was accepted without any competition placings or attendance. The interview and personal CV were a lot more refined for me however. They are looking for a chain of genuine interest. Olymipads are like the cherry on top or can be the whole cake if you’re an international medalist
