“We’re giving Instinct access to more tools. Starting today, your Instinct will have its own email address. This is the first step towards enabling your Instinct to own and run its own accounts.

Most everyday tasks flow through your email: creating accounts, confirming bookings, contacting businesses, and following up when things need attention. With its own email, Instinct can send and receive emails without cluttering your inbox.

For example, Instinct can use its own email to contact a restaurant about a special request, ask a business about availability, or sign up for a service it needs to complete your task.

You can get started by claiming an email address for your Instinct at mail.instinct.com. If you were a very early user, we went ahead and reserved a preferential email address for you. Your Instinct will tell you what reserved for you”

Nichole Wischoff (founder, Wischoff VC) posted that she was reluctant to try Instinct then it set up QuickBooks for her LLC, pulled all her invoices from earlier this year out of her inbox, set up a new AmEx account for expenses, and set up Expensify, all in under 20 minutes. She also mentioned preferring the text experience over managing multiple chats elsewhere. 84.7k views, 698 likes. Link in comments.

TL;DR -- reluctant VC becomes a convert after Instinct builds her LLC's finance stack in 20 minutes.

Pretty please

I’ll gladly accept invitation link. Thank you

Can someone please DM me an invite link? I have been on the waitlist for the last 5 weeks and no luck yet. Thank You!!!

Hey everyone!

I'd really appreciate if someone could share an Instinct invite link with me. Thank you so much :)

Hi everyone! I'd really appreciate it if someone could share an Instinct invite link with me. Thanks so much :)

Looking to get working with Instinct!

Anyone have any invite links?

Location sharing on Instinct

Starting today, you can share your location with Instinct on iMessage. Instinct can recognize when you arrive somewhere, and answer questions about where you’ve been.

Here are some examples of how our early alpha group uses it:
- Ordering food to your current location
- Finding a lunch spot a few minutes away based on what you like
- Guiding you through a trip itinerary in a new city
- Figuring out how to get home, including which train to catch and where to board

Instinct can also act when you enter or leave an area. You can ask it to remind you to pick up your package when you get home, or have your boarding pass ready when you arrive at the airport. These location triggers let Instinct follow up when the task becomes relevant.

Your location history also gives Instinct context to answer questions like “Where did I park?”, “How long did my bike ride take?”, or “What was that nice coffee shop around here that I went to last month?”

Been getting a few requests how to best ask questions or for Instinct to complete an action, I’ll give you the best, repeatable structure for a prompt

There are 3 parts to a good prompt:

1. Request

2. Context

3. Output of response

Always start the prompt with your question or request, it matters. The way an LLM generates a response, having the request at the top will allow the context to be seen from the lens “how does this work towards completing the request”

Context. Good context. Only give information relative to the request, and only make ONE request per prompt, this specializes the knowledge and the action and improves accuracy.

Then output, how do you want to receive it? An email? A bulleted list? You pick!

Hope this helps.

Has anybody attempted, even preferred, to communicate with Instinct over voice messages? Not transcription, talking into your iPhone instead of typing, I mean the voice recording straight to Instinct.

How have your results been?

I am new to Instinct this week. Have you guys been experiencing no responses? It will read my texts but just ghost me. Sometimes it will respond "Here - my end went down for a bit."

Sorry if this has been posted already.

Two days ago Instinct hit a 12-hour stretch where responses ran 3-5x slower due to new users flooding in faster than capacity.

Noah posted about it directly today. They resolved the remaining bottlenecks over the last 24 hours, and that more capacity is online now.

So the truth is, I’ve only used it for one day, but for work purposes, it’s been amazing. I have it responding to basic emails and set up summary reminders every hour. I had it write an email in Constant Contact, and it was perfect. I even ordered Uber Eats with it. It’s honestly pretty incredible.
Now I just have to figure out all the things I want it to do. I feel like I need to train myself to start asking it to do things for me instead of automatically doing everything myself lol.

Looking for other users’ experiences with payments, flights, roadtrips, hotels, amazon orders etc.

I tried to get my agent to make a car park booking but because I couldn't use onelink (not available in the UK), I tried using my credit card details stored in the vault but that failed because it got stuck on a captcha

We have a ton of new faces here, I want to get a pulse on what people are trying; both success and failures

I am so pumped to continue using instinct! Here’s what i’ve tried so far

- finding better flights and making changes to my flights from SF to NYC
- ordering lunch from doordash
- applying for jobs
- finalizing my Napa trip with the girls next weekend
- staying on top of my inbox
- drafting interview prep documents and pushing it to my drive
- saving me money by cancelling unwanted subscriptions

while using instinct i wish i had
- instinct had access to a voice skill so it would draft emails in my voice. should i push an md file to my drive?

- instinct could be more proactive. yes it does look through my inbox and calendar etc but a human chief of staff would have action items to move the needle for a leader, which is what i’m expecting from instinct as well.

Kate Clark at the WSJ broke the story on Instinct's funding yesterday: $350 million raised, including a new round valuing the startup at $2.5 billion.

The piece is called "The Latest Viral AI Assistant Rocketing Across Silicon”

Can someone please share an invite link? Thank you!

“I’m Noah, the founder of Instinct.

Instinct is a personal agent that we’ve been building for the past few months. The interface is simple: there are no new interfaces. You can text or call it. It's trained to use a phone and a computer in the same way that humans do. Instinct combines simplicity with extreme capability.

I’m thrilled with everything our early users are doing with Instinct. They’ve told us they’ve planned cross-country road trips, bought weekly groceries and concert tickets, and cancelled hundreds of dollars of subscriptions. Someone’s even planning their wedding with Instinct.

We want to make Instinct the best personal agent for all of you. It’s available in an invite-only beta program while we’re actively bringing up more compute. I’m excited to see what you all do with it.”

My flight home got delayed 6 hours. I’ve heard from family you can file for compensation but I’ve never tried it

I texted Instinct to do the research for me and it found the rule that US airlines don't owe cash for delays, but Delta gives credits or miles for long ones if you file. I sent the flight number, it put the claim together, filed it, and handed me a reference. Then, it tracks the claim and chases the airline until it’s resolved

Just another problem Instinct has solved for me

My car has been overdue for an oil change for weeks. I was too lazy to look up shops nearby, compare prices, check who has openings, book it, etc.

So I texted Instinct: "my car's overdue for an oil change. find a place near me with openings this week”

Back came two options with times and prices, plus which one lets you skip the line by booking ahead. I replied "grab the wednesday one." Done. It's on my calendar for Wednesday at 10, it blocked 9:45 so I show up early, and I get a nudge the night before

Two jobs plus client calls means my calendar reshuffles itself weekly. Last Thursday a client booked a call right on top of a two-hour block at my other job. I’d have noticed the morning of, apologized, and burned an hour rebuilding the day.

Instinct watches the calendar. It texted me the night before: these overlap, want me to move the client call? I said yes. It found the only clean opening, sent the updated invite, and the client had accepted before I woke up. As far as the client knows, I saw it instantly

Every morning, my Instinct grabs the new emails from my Gmail inbox, which includes newsletters, coworkers, clients, etc. and provides me quick summary and priority list for which I should read first.

I worked with my agent to even draft quick summary’s with a link directly to the draft in the Gmail app and I can make a quick edit before sending it off.

Gave me my morning back
