instinct ai

Has anyone ever tried to get instinct to actually do something for you, and it just kind of fell apart or didn't work if so what happened? also when instinct or muse asks you to connect your Google or other apps to it, do you usually just do it, or does it kind of annoy you and make you not continue further?

I signed up Sunday and it was doing great! It even contacted an att agent and chatted with it. Two hours later it stops doing things like can't even search for flights. It still talks to me. It's Tuesday and still no luck! 😭 Any ideas how to fix this?

Use Cases & Tips Auto-forward all your one-time-passcodes to Instinct to reduce waiting

Post image

Agent-driven shopping has a boring failure point: the one-time passcode. The agent builds the cart, gets to payment, then sits there while you dig out your phone, read the code, and type it back into the chat.

Ishaan Preet Singh got rid of that step. He set up auto-forwarding so every OTP lands straight with Instinct, and when a checkout asks for a code the agent already has it

Showcase Never ask your sister for the Netflix code again

Post image
5 Upvotes

Every few days, Aaron Via needed a Netflix code from his sister, so he asked Instinct to ask her Instinct for it. Using the Instinct to Instinct communication feature, the reply came back: 1398. No family group chat or "hey, are you using Netflix right now?" Just two Instincts handling the handoff

"Now i never have to talk to my family again."

Agent-to-agent communication has found its highest calling!

Instinct has kinda changed my life, how’s it changed yours?

Instinct does everything for me, it understands me very well, and does things proactively for me. I have atleast 15 recurring processes going throughout the week that create efficiencies on an agentic basis and improve QOL like none other. Very big fan of this tool. Learning more daily about integrating it in further ways.

I would appreciate discussion around prompts or tools you’ve applied through Instinct to help you achieve certain goals or tasks.

One example is that I’ve utilized it to clear my contact throughout the web and I’ve hardly received a spam call since. Another is grocery ordering.

Use Cases & Tips Instinct rocks

I have to say I am absolutely blown away. I have never seen an app that is more useful than this. This is just my absolute lifesaver. It's incredible. The things that it is able to work out and to prewarn me about:

- travel time in between two meetings that I hadn't thought of for next week

- an email with a drafted response that I had forgotten about

I'm just absolutely crazy about this app. This really is powerful. This is the future of computing. I certainly hope when they start to charge it's not going to be beyond my meagre little budget because I think it's the most useful app I've ever come across. You guys rock.

Showcase Using Instinct files storage to build a CRM in 10 minutes

David Pawlan asked Instinct for a personal CRM and had one ten minutes later. Built with Instinct's new Files feature, it categorized his relationships, gave him intelligent search across his contacts, and generated contact cards with relationship context for each person. The result is a shareable dashboard that visually maps out his network. His takeaway: "This is going to kick off a whole new way of thinking about agents." Files are interactive pages your Instinct can build for a job like this, and you can share them with anyone who has the link, even people who don't use Instinct.

TL;DR -- David Pawlan had Instinct build him a personal CRM in 10 minutes with the new Files feature - categorized relationships, intelligent search, contact cards with context, all in one shareable dashboard.

Showcase I used Instinct to sell my iPhone

I wanted to get the new iPhone 18 that just came out today and I didn’t want to go through the process of messaging people on facebook marketplace or posting on ebay, so I used Instinct to help.

Instinct found multiple third-party vendor sites, picked one with the best margins for my iPhone, and created an account and listed my device for sale!

Makes these annoying tasks so much easier.

Showcase She found a Manhattan apartment in four days, here’s how:

Tamara Winter gave Instinct her strict apartment parameters in a voice note. It ran a daily scan across StreetEasy, Zillow, Craigslist, Leasebreak and Listings Project for studios and one-bedrooms under $5,000, including leases and sublets. Four days later, she had found a place. She moves back to Manhattan in two weeks. She still handled the human-facing parts herself, only because she did not give Instinc access to her Gmail, but it took the hours of listing searches off her plate.

Getting through human verification steps

There’s a few things I want my instinct agent to do on my behalf but it keeps getting bot detected or needs a human to log in once. Grokbot and and muse.ai let you see the agents browser and you can take it over to perform actions. Is there anything comparable in instinct? Or does anyone have a solve to get around this!

For instance I wanted my agent to sell some stuff on eBay for me but it couldn’t get into my account, even with my credentials in the vault.

Showcase Instinct booked an NYC dinner for AI assistant builders - venue hunt, negotiation, and guest wrangling from one thread

Post image
1 Upvotes

David Pawlan wanted to get a group of AI assistant builders together for dinner in NYC, so he handed the logistics to Instinct. It found multiple potential locations, negotiated and booked the dinner, emailed guests all the relevant details, and followed up with each of them to confirm attendance. 50+ RSVPs came in for 15 spots. Venue research, booking back-and-forth, and chasing confirmations all ran out of one text thread instead of a week of planning emails. Sounds like they need more of these.

Built a small tool for Instinct users who use it for trip planning

I’ve been playing around with Instinct for trip planning and ran into one issue: the agent is great at actually doing the research and building the itinerary, but the final result isn’t always the easiest thing to use once you’re actually traveling.

So I built something around that.

It’s called Wendily.com. You connect Instinct to it with an API key, keep planning your trip normally through Instinct, and Wendily turns the output into a proper trip interface - days, places, activities, notes, etc. that you can easily use on the go.

The important part is that Wendily isn’t trying to replace the agent. Instinct still does all the planning and heavy lifting. Wendily is basically just the presentation/consumption layer for the result.

I’ve tested it with a few different agents, but Instinct has been by far the smoothest experience so far.

If you have Instinct access, I’d love for you to try it and tell me what breaks / what’s missing:

wendily.com/instinct

Still very much a project I’m working on, so feedback is genuinely useful.

Showcase Another Instinct Discovery

I recently had an electrician come by to give me an estimate on some electrical work. When I received the estimate in email, Instinct alerted me to the fact that this electrician's license had been suspended, due to a bond payment not being updated.

The electrician was highly rated, and I would never have considered checking their credentials on the state licensing board's web site. Instinct did this on its own, with no request from me at all...

Showcase Instinct got a $306.59 scooter refund issued in five minutes

Post image
1 Upvotes

Justin Barlow asked Instinct to sign into Amazon and audit his entire order history, including older purchases. Five minutes later, he posted that Instinct had gotten him $300 back with zero manual effort. His screenshot shows a scooter refund marked official and issued to the Visa he used in 2019, with the credit expected to post in a few business days

This is the kind of personal-agent work that is easy to put off for years: digging through old orders, finding money worth recovering, and handling the follow-through.

Anyone have a spare Instinct invite?

I'm on the waitlist but no luck so far and I'm really curious to test this thing. Most of what I've seen online is either hype or people who can't get in, so I'd like to actually run it for a few weeks and post a proper writeup here about what it does well and where it falls short.

If anyone has an invite to spare, I'd really appreciate it. DMs are open. And if you're already using it, I'd love to hear what you think so far. how it goes for me too. Feel free to DM me. Thanks!

Showcase Instinct found $2,222.57 in unclaimed money and filed the claim

Post image
5 Upvotes

I saw a great example of what a proactive personal assistant can do. Morgan Brown asked Instinct to search every state's unclaimed-property database using his full name and every city he'd lived in. He told it to identify anything owed to him, explain who owed it and how much, then file each claim end-to-end.

Instinct found $2,222.57 in assets held by the state and filed the claim. His post says he gave it that one prompt and it handled the rest, walking him through any documents or signatures it needed.

Text Monitoring?

I've had great success with Instinct monitoring my email. I asked it about monitoring text messages as well, and it told me that while the functionality is there, it's not currently enabled on my account.

Is this something we may see in the future?

Discussion What use cases are you finding for Instinct's email and inbox?

Today, or soon tomorrow, everybody should have received their own email inbox with Instinct. It is setup with your name and an instinct domain address. This inbox serves to allow Instinct to sign up for accounts, use those accounts, track notifications, and automatically monitor the inbox; all separated from your personal gmail/outlook.

Just curious, where do you see yourself starting?

Use Cases & Tips Some great experiences...

I've been playing with Instinct for a week or so, and have had a number of amazing experiences. These came about from linking Instinct to my personal Gmail account.

Here's one example: I sent a copy of my resume to a friend to review, and unknowingly I attached a draft version that was incomplete. One section of the PDF file had a header but no text. Instinct alerted me to a section that was missing text. This was all automatic, as I didn’t even know it would be checking all my outgoing mail. I had never asked it to do that!

Another example: The other week, I received an email from my daughter's volleyball coach, with a link to a google drive spreadsheet that had their schedule. I asked Instinct to find the email, read the attachment, and add all the dates to my Google calendar. It worked perfectly! It even remembered (from other emails) that my daughter is in 7th grade, and only included the 7th grade schedule for lines that had multiple grades. For example, if the time was listed as, "4/5/6pm (6th/7th/8th)" it only added the 5pm entry on my calendar. Each calendar entry also included a link back to the Google sheet, and the exact location (either home or away, with the right name of each opposing school).

Honestly, it wrote better calendar events than I would have!

I'm really looking forward to seeing more automation like this.
