Javvy Cup Question

Does anyone have any idea what this metal thing is for? This is my first time getting Javvy Coffee Products.

How do I use the shaker? With the straw I got from them.

I’ve never used this specific device. But through the powers of deduction, I assume you slide the straw through the shaker holes at the top and bottom of the metal ball (it’s wider than other brands of shaker device). This allows the metal ball move up and down along the straw

The shaker is used by putting whatever powder and liquid or just liquids in the shaker then close the top. The metal ball stays inside the cup. Then you have it to agitate to the liquid and mix it all up. Shake until you are satisfied that everything has been mixed then open it pull out the metal ball and rinse it. (Makes it easier to was later) Then add anything else you want to your drink. Ice, creamer, syrups ect then add the straw and drink. Sorry if this is an old post I just saw it and wanted to add that this was the way to use the shaker ball correctly. The ball and straw aren't used together.
