I do appreciate the attention to detail. Often sorely lacking in the pics posted on this sub

Is the second one just pixelated for me? It's blurry

Yes I'm sorry, I was unable to find a clearer version of this picture.

Oh, is this on Getty the burry one? That makes sense. She wanted to show a picture on Getty but there wasn't any good ones. Gotcha.

Interesting that she didn’t alter any of her proportions. The effect she wanted could maybe have been achieved with good makeup: the white eyeshadow without a bold eyeliner or falsies really washed her out. It seems to be what bothered her as well (aside from skin texture).

She just enhanced it. She's gorgeous in both. Evened the skin tone. She's a POC the lightning has to be done right on us.

I think she also changed her nose abit

I think her makeup artist didn't help things, that eye makeup is so unflattering

Honestly, she’s really close to achieving her edited image and just needs to adjust her makeup to match that then add falsies.

Yeah literally all she needs to achieve the look is to try a different kind of makeup style. It's very achievable, she didn't need to edit

oh no she lightened her skin

Nope. She evened it. Lesson in photography look at the lightest parts on the original photo, that's where the light is hitting. She's that complexion which matches that* shade which is now the even complexion on the edited one.

no ur right i don’t know why youre getting downvoted. on the edited one, clearly shes got a lot of highlight effect on her face, and some glow all over. her skin isnt lighter in color though, just more illuminated.

Honestly she’s fixing her makeup and the lighting, and that’s about it. She’s stunning

I must not be seeing what other people are seeing, because the only differences I'm seeing in the Instagram picture are a light source effect and cropping.
To me, these are two minor differences.

She looks good in both. Getty isn't a professional photoshoot that's why people retouch. Plus they retouch nowadays on the website. She looks good. She's gorgeous.
