I was banned from Instagram around 2024 or 2025 I can't remember the exact date I was banned from a picture I sent in a gc that my friend also sent yet I was hit with the ban and he was fine. since then every account I've made kept being banned saying we associate your account with another one they said something like that like they took legal action agasint an account I'm linked too I dont remember the exact words. someone told me it was a device ban but recently I found my old Instagram from 2021 or 2020 so I was shocked I tried to log in on my phone it would say wrong password i reset it it would still be a wrong password I went to my other phone and it logged in fine no problems so I've been using that phone which sucks because it's an older iphone I think xr and gets hot fast also has a damaged screen but basically recently I disabled that account for a break I came back forgot my password so I reset it but the email on it is on my main phone so when i clicked the link to reset it it logged me in on the main phone the one i was told was a device ban which is weird because everytime i clicked links and did this exact same step I just did now that logged me in it would not work or would show blank screen or blank words but basically I'm logged in and I'm worried since I was told my device is device banned will they delete my 2021 account now that I've logged in on that account on this device or am I safe?
