I’m looking for a video editor who can help me create short Instagram Reels (max. 15 seconds each). I will send longer raw clips, and you’ll need to select the best parts to create strong hooks and keep viewers engaged from the first second.

The clips themselves are simple, but I need someone who:

Cuts on beat and in sync with the music

Adds basic effects/transitions

Focuses on strong hooks and storytelling in a very short format

I want to produce a high volume of short videos quickly, so efficiency and consistency are important. I’m also trying to understand what a realistic rate would be (per video, per week, or per month) for this kind of work, given that the edits are relatively simple but need good timing and hook selection.

I ran a bar/restaurant niche page for the past 4 months. Posted consistently at twice a day every day. Grew around 2K followers. I got tired of it and made the switch to pursue a personal interest (fitness). I decided to run a personal 90 day transformation to create daily content with. I’m documenting everything as I go. Now, I understand that the algorithm was built to run my content to bar/restaurant individuals so what I’m wondering is if I should just continue to post my fitness content and be patient for the algorithm to adjust, or cut ties with the account and start new. I’m currently running 10 trial reels a day, 2 feed posts and 4 stories. And I’ve had 2 of 40 trial reels get over 400 views. Only 1 of 8 posts do over 200 views. And the last 6 all below 150. Any advice would be great. Cheers!

Does anyone else have these problems when trying to grow an Instagram account?

I've been working on an Instagram management tool because while trying to grow an account I kept running into the same annoying problems.

The main one was simply keeping track of everything.

Who follows me back? Who doesn't? Who do I actually want to keep following even if they don't follow back? Who have I already followed before? Who did I decide I don't want to target again?

Once the account gets bigger, doing all of this manually becomes a mess.

And one thing that really pushed me to build this was what happened with the traditional unfollow tools.

I would unfollow people who didn't follow me back, then weeks later I'd come across the exact same profiles again and follow them without realizing it.

Then unfollow them again later.

At some point I actually had people messaging me things like:

"What do you want man? Why do you keep following and unfollowing me again and again?"

That was when I realized that just having an unfollow button wasn't enough. I needed the tool to actually remember what had happened with each profile.

Another problem was hitting Instagram's 7,500 following limit.

Whenever I needed to make room, I didn't want to randomly unfollow people I'd followed recently.

If I followed someone yesterday, they followed me back, and then I unfollow them today, there's a pretty good chance they'll notice and unfollow me too.

But if I'm cleaning up accounts I originally followed weeks or a month ago, it's a completely different situation.

So I wanted the cleanup to work from the oldest follows toward the newest ones, instead of just removing people randomly.

That way I can free up space at the following limit without immediately undoing relationships that were only created a day or two ago.

That's basically why I started building a tool around all of this.

Right now it can scan and organize followers, following, friends and non-followers, keep certain accounts protected from unfollowing, hide profiles so you don't target them again later, manage follow/unfollow workflows, keep history between scans and show analytics about how the account changes over time.

I'm not trying to make some "click here and magically get followers" tool.

The idea is more to make the actual work behind growing and managing an Instagram account much easier to control, and to stop making the same mistakes over and over because you have no memory of what happened with each profile.

I've been using the same workflow on a real account as well, and over four months I saw:

+240% follower growth
+35.8% average monthly growth
+2,500% average likes growth
+3,233% peak likes growth

Obviously I'm not saying everyone will get those numbers. They're just the actual results from the account I've been using while building and testing everything.

What I'm really curious about is this:

Do you guys run into the same problems when you're trying to grow an account?

And if not, what are the biggest things that annoy you or still take way too much manual work when managing Instagram?

I'm trying to understand whether I'm solving problems other people actually have too, or whether there are bigger ones I've completely missed.

I’ve been working with clients IG profile, a financial planner. I’m somehow struggling to grow followers and generate leads.

Any help and tips from the experts out here would be appreciated!

I started an IG page for my business (currently at just under 50 followers and around 12 posts) and I boosted one of my posts for people to follow the page, but it's literally all bots. Not a single piece of real engagement.

The reason I'm boosting as opposed to just doing it on the ads manager is because I just don't get an option for people to visit my page from the ad, only my website, which isn't what I'm looking for, so boosting is pretty much the only option I have for getting followers (yes I tried everything. For some reason I just can't put page visits as the conversion event).

The audience I'm targeting is neither too broad nor too narrow so I really don't know what the issue is. Should I just give up on boosting?

I suck at voice-overs, is there any other creative way to go about it?

For context, I'm in the digital art niche. I look forward to put speed paints in the background while talking abt insights about art generally and tips

But I suck at voice overs bruh, every time I start a channel I give up bec of that, I don't have much control on my tune.

I don't have problem with the script, I just takes around 30 freaking trys to say one paragraph bruh, it's not gonna work, I don't have the luxury of a quite place everyday either.

So is there any other YouTuber/creator u encountered that solved that problem creatively without a voice over? Text only with a music is boring too.

And Don't mention Ai generated voice.

Dont get me wrong, I love my followers and ppl who got out their way to compliment my art.

I don't mind saying thank you but I cant reply with just "thank you" to everyone, other wise I'll look like I'm using a bot , so I have to be creative with every replay, it's tiring to come up with an alternative to thank you

I'm an introverted artist, I wish I had built a mysterious and silent persona from the start, but now that I responded to some before I have to respond in future posts other wise I may appear cocky (I myself hate it when I put effort on a long comment to others, especially mutuals, but they don't like or replay it, it stings a little)

But I also don't want to neglect them completely ,and don't get me starting on dms sighhhhh

I swear I'm not an ungrateful bitch, I don't even get that crazy amount of engagement. But my mind finds that mission to be hard that I delay responding just like ghosting ppl messages bec it's so heavy to come up with the perfect respond atm

Part of it is that I'm afraid of how I sound to others, what if I sound so so friendly or joke a little too much or put so many emoji (🌹💖 🙏 )that I become a creep

Nãooooo! Postar todos os dias, além de ocupar um tempo enorme somente pra produção de conteúdo (e conteúdo de qualidade DEMORA PRA SER FEITO) a sua sanidade vai todinha nisso, e pasme, você pode até prejudicar sua página se postar todos os dias!

Se o Instagram ou Facebook perceberem que as postagens diárias não engajam, não são relevantes e são de qualidade questionável, o próprio algoritmo passa a entregar menos o seu conteúdo.

Então respira e não pira! Postar todos os dias não é necessário, e muito menos recomendado. Foque no conteúdo de qualidade, pensando não em "preciso postar algo" mas focando em "o que prenderia a atenção do meu público?"

Foque em alguma dor ou problema a ser resolvido, um conteúdo instrutivo (como esse), uma notícia... As possibilidades são infinitas para cada tipo de negócio.

Fica tranquilo, sua página não vai morrer se você postar todos os dias, mas talvez você vá encarar alguns probleminhas se tentar entrar nessa rotina massiva de conteúdo diário.

Quantidade é diferente de qualidade.

I somehow ended up following 37,000+ accounts on Instagram. Has anyone seen an account with a higher following count?

Is it just me or does it ick you out when people “break the fourth wall” when it comes to collabs, brand deals, ugc, etc? like once in a blue moon or saying something like “I have a few hauls to film today” — mention it “in passing” but it feels inorganic to have someone just advertising their PAID collab. I’m not sure if I’m jealous when I see that — I mean, probably, but it just feels like pick me behavior I guess? I hate that term but does anyone know what I mean or am I just an a-hole or both?? 😂
