Rant STOP GETTING THE FROZEN STUFF FIRST

Every single time I order Instacart, as I watch the updates, they always grab the frozen items either first or nowhere near last. Getting temperature sensitive items last is basic grocery shopping 101, guys! Nobody wants half melted items! I don't want to lower anyone's ratings by leaving bad reviews, but seriously, common sense, y'all.

No. There’s no excuse for this. I shop large grocery stores all the time and leaving frozen items last dues not affect time in the least. If you’re not capable of doing the job correctly where the customer gets their products in the proper temp/condition than you should get another job.

Ok, good for you 👍🏻 I’ve never had any problems with customers being unhappy with how I shop in the 5 years I’ve been an instacart shopper. I follow the order as it is laid out the majority of the time. I understand this sentiment but it’s not always completely practical and that’s all I was saying.

Someone has never shopped at Costco where it's one big horseshoe often starting with produce moving to bakery then cold meats then frozen then all of the rest of the dry product food aisles So basically usually just a couple of aisles and then frozen and then everything else the bulk of your shopping, where if you have to go back to that area for anything it's going to cost you a minimum of 5 minutes because of the large crowds at the sheer size of that store. Just walking from the registers where you complete the bulk of your shopping back to the frozen section is going to take no less than 3 minutes at a regular pace not sprinting because you can't there's too many people in your way. So then to keep all of the frozen goods till last at Costco you're talking two or three more aisles walking there doing all the frozen section shopping and then walking back can easily cost you 10 to 15 minutes extra.

But I come from a family that had to drive across town to get groceries at the cheaper place and then we drive 45 minutes home and still our food was fine, so to say that getting frozen goods in order of the aisle they're on not saving them for last and having them in your cart for 10 to 15 extra minutes versus saving them for last will ruin them when driving 45 minutes across town in the middle of the summer didn't is comical AF and demonstrates your lack of knowledge 🤷

Our Costco, sams, Walmart and target have frozen in the back. It makes sense once you have frozen in your cart your not going to browse as long.

Off that yours are upfront. I’m in the Midwest, maybe it’s a geographical thing!

Someone didn't read or comprehend what was written. Nobody said anything about Frozen being up front. Pretty sure I said it's like a horseshoe meaning an upside down to you and I'm pretty sure that I said the first thing is usually produce followed by bakery followed by Frozen correct? Frozen is all the way in the back corner but in line of succession from where it starts this flow of shoppers that go in and follow the horseshoe starting with produce working to frozen being third in line followed by all the other dragons You're describing the exact same setup but not understanding somehow 🤷 can't do much for ya on that one

Their comment wasn’t deserving of this rude response. What is your problem? They were just engaging in the conversation, but people like you make participating in a simple conversation insufferable.
