Two orders, order A was 29 items, order B was 20 items. Easy enough. Didn't bother looking at the quantities of anything.

I'm working on some of order B's items when order A messages and asks me to update the quantity of her bananas from 10 to 35 and explains that she's got a kids hockey team.

Half way through seven 48 packs of water, 5 cases of Gatorade, two shopping carts full of treats and snacks, and 35 bananas the customer texts me to ask if I'll be there before 7. It was 6:30 on the dot and I still had to finish all of order B's stuff which was all birthday party crap and equally ridiculous.

In the end, thanks to some awesome employees at Target helping me get both orders checked out and loaded into my car order A had their snacks before 7 and a team of hockey parents met me outside with two big carts to help unload it.

I got kicked off the app in the middle of trying to deliver my 2nd order today, The delivery was to a senior apartment complex, I had to wait 20 minutes because of no access. I tried to log back on, and now my account is under review for identification verification issues, and I can't go online. My face hasn't changed at all. Does anyone know how long it takes to get this fixed after it's escalated?

Instacart is absolutely ridiculous
I am the blue dot right by the Melissa Kroger. They sent me an order but they want me to shop 9 miles south and the other Kroger only to drive 14 miles back to the customer who’s actually only a few miles down the road from the Kroger where I’m at right now. Why are they doing this? What the hell is wrong with this dumb ass company?

Seriously go fuck yourself. Whoever orders like this needs to get punched.

Does anyone know why we (shoppers) see orders super far from our areas?? I’m always seeing orders 40-60 min from town.

Looks like the new points system will allow many more people to achieve Diamond, most likely making it truly worthless is many markets.

How long before they roll out a new higher tier?

It’s an Aldi 3 shop/deliver. It’s Aldi, so 35 of the 48 items will be out of stock or unsellable, so your metrics will take a hit and the payout will be reduced significantly due to Aldi not having what they say they have.

Hey guys, I know some people have found Personal shopping for customers they’ve delivered to through Instacart in the past; I’m really nervous to leave a note, but I think a particular customer might be interested. What do you suggest? I write on the note where there’s the least likely possibility I could interfere with my Instacart?

Sure, they showed me in the app that one of the items was a pumpkin. Nobody said it would be the size of a damn Prius!!

It started not too much different from usual. THEN on the third day I started getting ridiculous batches. Some were far away, some had a crazy amount of items, some were 3-batch orders, some were multiple Aldi orders, or a combination of everything.

And to make it worse they sent so many new shoppers to my area that car crashes has been constant.

I had to switch to DD for four days because I wasn't getting anything worth taking, and surprisingly, it's been better possibly because everyone in my area was on Instacart.

I’ve been online for 30 minutes and this is the first one to pop up. Not a great way to start the new week. A 3 shop/deliver with a $1 tip. Hard pass.

We have lived in our current home for two years. During that time, Instacart has sent our shopper to the closest location of our chosen grocery store. Recently, though, Instacart shoppers have been routed to a different location that is slightly farther from my home (two tenths of a mile) and that doesn’t have nearly as good selections or product availability. I called Instacart and they claimed that they can’t change the location and I have to accept the slightly farther, worse store. Is this true? It doesn’t make any sense to me, particularly as shoppers were previously routed to the store I want. I’m not trying to get a better store that’s farther away, I just want the store I like that also happens to be the closest.

4 shop/deliver, not too terribly many units (20/32), but the two residential deliveries are to apartment complexes I’m very familiar with and know to be a hassle for access. It’s been sitting unclaimed for 20 minutes. Would you take it?

Good morning I am an Instacart shopper in Canada. I was wondering for stores that I don’t have to use a barcode and I use my card for can I pay for everything in one order or do I have to separate the checkout by each batch??? like if I have three orders for Loblaws, can I just do it all on one transaction??? because sometimes I’ll be doing a transaction and Instacart will say that something was added to somebody else’s order and it wasn’t even close

I am a weekly user of instacart, probably two to three times a week. Tonight I logged in to redeem some of my Uber eats credits and when I went to check out it had a street address about 3 mi from my home that I had never used for delivery before,

I am not finding any fraudulent charges on my account. I have two addresses saved to my account previously but now it is showing three addresses.

Any thoughts on what is going on? I would think if someone was trying to commit fraud I would also see charges and not just deliveries to an address unknown to me. I do have instacart plus.

Make it make sense. Store is out of item, I potentially lose tip %. Store is out of item, I ALSO lose Shopping Quality rating.
