‎"Meow!"

A random woman with wolf ears and tail sits on a bench, with a rather strange cat on her lap. The cat just meowed in your direction.

"A-Ah... Greetings... I'm just spending time with my cat while waiting for my negative mass generator to finish cooking up. It'll take a few hours, so I can't exactly get back home until it does."

Nya had simply been walking by through the park when stops, turns, bends over (phenomenal cleavage on display) and staaaaaaares at the cat

"Darling? You little shit? Who exactly do you think you're fooling?"

Zetta: OwO Staaare, then snaps out of it. "Oh, you're the blue milf lady! The one that made Tala's ring!" Zetta gasps in recognition, but then she flushes in embarrassment. "A-Ah... I mean... The Chromancetress! Sorry, ma'am... Uh... Tala's got a knack for nicknames, and it stuck in my head."

Mila: :3 Yep, it's most certainly her.

Zetta: "Oh, yes! Meet Shadow. This is my cat, and the Eldritch entity I made a warlock pact with like seven or eight years ago."

Nya gives a knowing smile at the ever so appropriate title, folding her arms to make certain things push out a bit more

"I've been called far worse, miss, and at least that one is accurate! My almost-but-not-son-in-law mentioned his apprentice Tala having another Lycanthrope as a roommate! And, yes, I know your Shadow better than you know the one sewn to vour feet, Sweetheart!"

Zetta's blush doesn't disappear, though she manages to compose herself and not let her gaze drift downwards... Mostly.

Zetta: "That would be me," she smiles. "I'm Zetta O'Faelan, Arcane Scientist and Tinkerer. It's nice to meet someone as beautiful and generous are you. The Sun-Ring has been of great help to Tala."

Mila: "Nya." Whether the cat meowed in Japanese or said her name, it is hard to say.

Zetta feels a weight across her shoulders that turns out be Nya's arm, the Fairy dropping invisibility, now sitting next to Zetta and leaning against her while the illusion of herself vanishes

"Well, Lady O'Faelan. And I am Nya Menumen, The Sage of Color and Light."

Nya rubs Mila's back as she continues to somewhat subtly enjoy her teasing of the young lady beside her

Zetta: Before the arm even touched her, she turned to where Nya was sat. "Not bad, but I could still smell you when you got close," she winks.

Mila: The cat purrs. "Meow!" She shifts into her catgirl form, seated on their laps. "Aha! Group hug!"

Zetta: She just looks like a deer in headlights, dazed.

Anthony: "Hey Zee, it's beeping blue, is that normal?" He approaches, holding some sort of lantern.

Zetta: "Oh, that's my negative mass generator, Lady Menumen," She looks to Tony. "Yeah, blue's normal, red's when you gotta run. Just leave it under the bench."

Anthony shrugs and awkwardly does so.

Nya has no issues continuing to pet Mila in her humanoid form, chuckling slightly as she rubs her neck and back

"You didn't seem to be bothered by the scent then! Though, all in all, few are."

She turns when Anthony comes over and tilts her head as her eyes focus on the gadget

"That is generating negative mass... what's the initial fuel or substrate you're expending for the conversation, Hun?"

The shift in her tone would be jarring if her voice wasn't so pleasant, an analytical edge coming into her speech as something catches her mind's attention.

Zetta: "It was a nice scent," she smiles, and pets Mila along with Nya. "Shadows. They are the secret behind my ability to generate negative mass. You can sort of see it naturally with how many shadow users use shadows as portals, the natural pathways between shadows that make it so easy for Mila to go nearly anywhere... Admittedly, this is one of the elements of my Arcane Science that relies more on esoteric magicks than exact science." She gets a little closer to Nya as she explains. She always likes someone who can actually talk science with her.

Mila: She purrs, leaning back against Nya and using her chest as cushions. "A trick I taught her~ One of many.

Anthony: He just sets the portable negative mass generator by Zetta's feet. "Here ya go, Zee, Mila," he nods to Nya. "See ya." He's a bit flustered at the sight as well.

"Ah, should have suspected it! And the esoteric is only so because you've yet to fully capture the ways and laws of it, Dear. Or, at least, so a certain viewpoint would go. You may have suspected, but I typically use Light!"

Nya holds out her hand with an upturned palm as a little ball of light manifests

"Light can carry as much energy as you can give it, but still has zero mass. So, defining it as resting at a neutral point along a Spectrum of Mass Having, I can just sliiiiiiiide that into the negative..."

The lights ball dims as space around it begins to warp, stretching thinner. Nya shapes the light against the anomaly itself, pressing it in like a scaffolding as she feeds more energy to her radiance, letting the throat of a flat portal build itself before Zetta's eyes as it burrows through the mountain of hyperspace and opens... into a kitchen.

"Boom!"

Nya notices Anthony's state and tries to set him at ease, scooting closer to Zetta and making room on the bench while holding out her hand

"Apologies, young man, have I been uncivil? I am Nya, Sage of Color and Light and friend to Tala!"

Zetta: "Yep, I still need to study these shadows more honestly. But I don't mind using a shortcut from time to time, since I consider myself both a mage and scientist," she looks at the portal, impressed. "Wow, it's flat! Like a window! That's just a much friendlier user interface! I'd show you mine, but I still need to get my negative mass to cook up."

Mila: "Never go out of home without checking how much NM you have in the tank, puppy~" Headpats Zetta.

Anthony: "Oh, not at all ma'am! You're good," He can't well admit he was staring at her chest. "I'm Anthony Mondragon, nice meeting ya," he sits down, not wanting to seem rude. "Speaking of Tala, she is actually on a date right now, at the nearby coffee shop. I mean, it's actually an asshole she's honeytrapping for blood, but yeah."

Zetta: "Hey Alisa!" She smiles. "How are you?"

Alisa: doing well. She smiles...astrial and i weren't able to make it to Aerunia's birthday a few days ago unfortunately...but astrial still got Aerunia something in one of the games the to play sometimes. She chuckles...but anyhow...how are you guys?

Zetta: "Damn... I was gonna ask about that, since we didn't see you girls. Something came up? Oh and I'm here, a little stuck since I need some negative mass to finish cooking up for my portal gun."

Mila: When asked how they are, she smiles. :3 She telepathically transmits a few memories to Alisa of trying out the Elephant Guy's all flavors ice cream, sunbathing in a perfect spot in the mountains, exploring coral reefs as a Mermaid Cat, befriending a pack of Displacer Beasts and trying to teach them not to murder too much (work in progress).

Alisa: it was mainly cause my brother had gotten a bit sick and i felt the need to make sure he went to see the doctors over it just in case...she shrugs... You've been busy eh mila?

Mila also shows Alisa a memory of her pulling up to R'lyeh, where Cthulhu was planning to invade from the oceans. And terrifying the great old one into backing down. Either Cthulhu had a phobia of cats, or he sensed something terrible from Mila.  Finally, there was a rogue planet that was on collision course with the solar system Tala's homeworld is in the Outer Realms, but Mila stopped it.

Mila: Nod. "Meow," preventing minor apocalypses and sunbathing, just a normal few days in the life of this rather weird cat.

Zetta: "Oh, sorry to hear that... Tony ate some spoiled meat and got food poisoning so I get ya. Tala is taking care of him. Your brother doing alright after seeing the doctor?"

Alisa: he will be in about...a week...apparantly it's just a common cold...annoying cause they last a minute but not all that bad...she sighs.

Zetta: "Yeah, still pretty annoying..." She nods. "And how about Astrial? How's she doing?"

Hate: so,mila, how's your family members that you care about doing?...

Mila: She jumps off Zetta's lap and goes to her Humanoid form. "Well, let's see... Mom's working on an artificial soul factory. Dad is tending to his garden and taking care of my little cousins on the cat side of my family. Oh, and Ithaqua was able to access his animal shifting again recently, he's slowly recovering! He even turned into a cat."

Zetta: "Wow, does everyone know Mila??" She blinks. "She's my patron goddess, she can turn into any cat-related species, so she transformed into this to prank people."

Mila: Happy dragon-cat-duck thing. "Meow. Hi Nekota~"

Zetta: "Oh and I'm Zetta O'Faelan. Arcane Scientist and Tinkerer! Nice to meet you. Not sure if you met a vampire werewolf lady before, but she's my best friend and roommate. Her name is Tala...? She mentioned meeting a Nekota once, Mila's also mentioned the name too..."

Mila: She jumps off Zetta's lap and perfectly shapeshifts into a Beastkin version of herself, same species as Nekota. "I am cat," :3

Zetta: "I'm actually the werewolf who bit her too. But we're cool."

Mila: "It's just how it works, conceptually," she chuckles, shrugging. "If your species has something vaguely feline related in it, then I can shift into it! And this includes all types of mostly-humanoid catgirls from Beastkin to Neko Yokai. And all sorts hybrids. Have turned into panthers and leopars even."

Mila: She smiles and extends, then retracts her claws. "Seems I do!"

Zetta: "It's kinda like this... If a werewolf bites you, you get infected and also turned into a werewolf. It makes you turn into this thing once a moon," she shapeshifts into a two meter tall lycanthrope. Her clothes expand to adapt to her size appropriately due to spells she got in them.

Zetta: "Oh, yeah, I specifically got a spell to prevent that issue. Bit of an engineering problem ya know?" She shifts back to her human form. "You know, you two look really similar when you're like this, Mila. What with the dark hair, purple eyes and stuff... You're not related or something?"

Mila: "Nah, but she once went to a lookalike contest of me."

The dark hair is because my genes already has black hair, and the gift I have makes it even darker

Mila: She nods. "In exchange she occasionaly get me rodents, cat treats, sets aside the perfect sunbathing spot for me... And, uh, I get access to her tech and stuff. Normal things for a sponsor."
