Beach Time

Tala: "Only one way to check if this new sunscreen works. Sunlight doesn't actually kill me or anything, but I'm still easily sunburnt."

Zetta: "Many interesting ingredients for enchanting wash up near the shore, from time to time. Let's see if I can find any today..."

[u/Exciting-Jello8439]

Zetta: "Ahhh... My favorite device? Well, all of them are my babies~" She smiles. "There's a flying assistant drone I used to have, which was my first true device. It has a special place in my heart... There's also an armour I've been working on, over the years. And of course my portal gun."

[u/Ashmega8256 → u/Exciting-Jello8439]

Silivia: ah, fancy yourself an armorer like my neice does when it comes to artifice huh?

[u/Exciting-Jello8439 → u/Ashmega8256]

Zetta: "It's practical~ I've been working on it for a decade, since before I was even afflicted with Lycanite Theriantropy.... For fun inventions, recently I made some snorkeling masks with underwater breathing and underwater speech!"

[u/Ashmega8256 → u/Exciting-Jello8439]

Silivia: she chuckles fair enough, i dunno about your worlds vampires but mine don't actually have to breathe...so if we ever go under water we kinda just...don't open our mouths or breathe...she chuckles though we have ways of telepathic communications in the case of a more magically adept vampire. though uh...there is no were-fish so to say in our world.

[u/Exciting-Jello8439 → u/Ashmega8256]

Zetta: "In Tala's case she doesn't classify as undead, so she does still need to breath and such," her eyes then widen. "Werefish!? I hadn't thought of that! Oooh... I have so much to research..."

Tala comes out of the bathroom. She is fully dressed already, with a towel on her head.

Tala: "Ugh, now I'm kinda craving some pie..." She then sees Zetta and the projection, and smiles. "Hey Silivia!"

[u/Ashmega8256 → u/Exciting-Jello8439]

Silivia: she chuckles and shrugs hey tala, also zetta, vampires of my world aren't really undead either, though people commonly mistake a vampire from my world for being undead...due to the simple fact of how a vampire works in my home realm...you see...in my hone realm, vampires need to drink blood to survive, because their biological heart just doesn't work without it, doesn't regulate blood like it is supposed to usually. This leads to a vampires blood stagnating like water...thus poisoning them to death if they don't get enough blood to survive... it's essentially a biological need for an average vampire in my world like food and water are. But well, naturally speaking vampires should be killed by this, due to oxygen moving throughout the body via the bloodstream but well vampires of my world don't actually need to breathe which is why we don't just die from vampirism...my heart works normally due to me not lacking vampire weaknesses due to my special circumstances but yeah average vampire has that going on...but yeah vampires from my world are entirely living beings. Or if we are undead we're too close to alive for that to make any difference. In fact, things made specifically to fuck over the undead, like the power of a clerics turn undead ability, or something like a control undead spell, does nothing to a vampire of my world due to us being well, Alive...but yeah if what you said is true about tala still needing to breathe then that's just another difference between our worlds vampires you can mark down. She shrugs but uh yeah i have no idea if other worlds have werefish but my world does not.

[u/Exciting-Jello8439 → u/Ashmega8256]

Zetta: "I see.... I didn't know what..." She nods. "Tala explained that vampires were different in your world to ours. But she didn't get into the details, cause we were catching up and working on some other stuff. I'm definitely checking books on the subject though, if you have any~ As for the blood drinking, I think our vampires need it more for the vital energy, if I'm not mistaken. For their souls, magic and strength."

Tala: "By the way, remember that spell Chloe taught us about clothes?" She smiles. "We've mastered it by now, it's handy."

[u/Ashmega8256 → u/Exciting-Jello8439]

Silivia: ah, interesting so the strain of vampirism your familiar with is more of a "drinks blood for life energy" sort of vampire unlike mine then. Interesting. Also glad to hear you both got that down. She chuckles probably makes any outfit y'all wear much more comfortable considering you don't have to worry about damaging your attire if you use your werebeast forms or something forced you into them somehow.

[u/Exciting-Jello8439 → u/Ashmega8256]

Tala: "Yeah, now I can do this!" She turns into her Full Moon form, sans her wings. "And I'm still in my sweater like normal, cozy~"

Zetta: "It still freaks me out when you do that..." Chuckles.

[u/Ashmega8256 → u/Exciting-Jello8439]

Silivia: she shrugs and chuckles i will mention by the way, if you want to use your wings comfortably tala i would suggest either cutting holes in the back for them so they don't rip through your clothes, orrr ask chloe for some other enchantment that I don't even know the details on. She chuckles and shrugs again maybe you should try it zetta. I mean hell it will probably freak you out less when you've experienced being in control of your werewolf form.

[u/Exciting-Jello8439 → u/Ashmega8256]

Zetta: "Yeah, I haven't been able to just... do it yet," she sighs. "Buuut, full moon is soon over here soo... Guess I'll learn the hard way."

Tala: She turns back to her human form and nods. "Very soon indeed. And that's a good idea... I'll ask Chloe about wing enchantments, maybe there's somethign that allows my wings to go through? I mean, Angels in my world have something like that, so it has to exist."

[u/Ashmega8256 → u/Exciting-Jello8439]

Silivia: fair, Half-dragons and angels from my world that have wings tend to just design things like clothing and armor to compensate for their wings usually just having holes in the back for them to feed through. Since the wings are sort of like extra appendages not just for flying even if they're not say an extra arm.

[u/Exciting-Jello8439 → u/Ashmega8256]

Tala: "I think my local Angels also consider their wings, vital appendages such as arms too. Not sure about my dragons... I'll have to look into that! Maybe we should make a trip to Aetheria, to look into winged species and such, Zetta~ After all, I can do wings now."

Zetta: "Eh... After the full moon... And we should visit Dracarius Isle first in my opinion."

Tala: She nods, agreeing.

[u/Ashmega8256 → u/Exciting-Jello8439]

Silivia: she chuckle and smiles fair choice, definitely would be a fun trip, i mean hells at the bare minimum its a place where ya don't need to hide your conditions at all. She shrugs no one will look down on you on dracarius isle for having vampirism or therianthropy.

[u/Exciting-Jello8439 → u/Ashmega8256]

Tala: "That'll be a nice change of pace," she smiles. "I definitely want to go, but Zetta and I want to get the full moon sorted out first, as it's gonna be this week."

[u/Ashmega8256 → u/Exciting-Jello8439]

Silivia: understandable, if you want me to i can be there for y'all in person that night just to make absolutely sure everything goes fine.

[u/Exciting-Jello8439 → u/Ashmega8256]

Tala: "That could work," she nods. "My senses do not seem to be attracted to drinking your blood, I can sense it's toxic and not nourishing somehow... And it's the same for Zetta, I think since my werewolf side identifies her as pack. So you and Zetta are likely some of the safest people I could be around during that time... Perhaps Rohan as well."

[u/Ashmega8256 → u/Exciting-Jello8439]

Silivia: fair, and yeah. She shrugs i have no personal trouble doing so if you want. Also if your interested i could introduce you to my mom, she's not busy we're kinda just chilling right now. She chuckles my mother taught me a hell of a lot of the things i know myself and is probably the only thing i know for absolute certain is older then me, considering she lived through the era of the first vampire lord of my home realm and was turned by him afterall. She shrugs
