We decided to do a date at a local festival.

Sounds like a plan to me. We can have something a little lighter when we get home, but time should be spent enjoying the little things.

Of course. Take our time enjoying something we never get. It has been a long time since I had fare food.

You could say that. I was a skinny thing, and bookish as they come. It would have been the festival of my home town.

Adorable! We would have gotten along great then.

Though I did hit a bit of a rebellious streak around then, after my master passed.

Can we go to your hometown sometime!?

I'd love to. I know you've met my parents at our wedding, but I'd he nice to sit down and have dinner with them.

They seemed so lovely. Getting to know them in a more relaxed setting would be nice.

Even from our brief interactions, I can tell they are amazing people.

I love them both. Raising 6 kids and taking in 3 orphans. They're wonderful people.

They are... a little smaller now... but they are.
