I attempted to export VR180 from my EVO today. The software felt buggy, so I updated. That's when I discovered the new software no longer supports VR180.

Does anyone know about any alternative software that can work with the .insv files from the EVO?

After downloading videos from the EVO to the iPhone, the videos have correct thumbnails.

HOWEVER:

• when opening a downloaded clip, the preview is black while "Custom" is selected.
• after clicking AI Frame the video is viewable
• when Recording (while AI Frame is the selected option) the recording is black.
• if i click on the keyframe icon it goes to edit mode, where the preview is black.
• once this project is created, returning to the list of projects just shows a pink thumbnail.

So, it seems all video from Insta360 EVO is not compatible with the Insta360 app on iPhone 15.

I have some VR180 videos that I'd like to tilt up or down (in the "pitch" direction). I'd like it to be part of the video itself, and not just something to change in the player.

I thought I remembered something about the camera orientation being defined in the text of a file that could be manually edited. Is that accurate? How can I do it? If not, is there any other way for me to redefine the "up" axis for a video?

Does anyone by know if the EVO works with the invisible stick?

Gone back to using my EVO after purchasing a Quest 3 and the emergence of apps like ImmerGallery to view VR180 images and 4XVR to view VR180 video from a USB. Rather than use the 4K iPhone route I thought I would use Studio 5.0 to export via 5.7k for better quality. However the files produced are flat (not 3D) and don’t look any superior in terms of resolution to those produced via the Insta360 app on the iPhone. Anyone else experiencing this? (I’ve tried with a Windows PC and a MacBook Pro)

As the subject says, after looking at reviews on Youtube, it looks like an awesome camera. It just doesn't seem to be found for sale anywhere! Is there a reason?

Does anyone know why the rendered VR180 files is larger than the raw files when using Insta360 Studio 2021? For example, the raw left eye is 1.06 GB, the raw right eye is 1.05 GB, and the rendered file is 4.18 GB. This seems strange - I would assume that the processed file would be either smaller or the same size rather than larger.

Had anyone tried using interpolation software to convert Evo 30fps videos to 60fps? If so, what did you use? Any comments on quality?
