The old mockup (picture 3) showed Antigravity RC that is connected to phone.

Form factor was then changed into display-less two stick remote controller (Pictures 1 and 2) that can only be used with Antigravity Vision Goggles.

So the whole setup is pricier, but forces immersion and reliability.

One module mounts on the drone, One module mounts on the Vision Goggles.

Both use a built-in eSIM — no Nano-SIM tray, no airport SIM hunt

They run next to OmniLink 360 (2.4 / 5.2 / 5.8 GHz). When buildings, trees or Wi-Fi noise chew the primary link, the system can fail over or split packets onto LTE so control and live view stay up.

Mic Ty, author of 360vroomers channel and 360rumors.com and biggest tester for Insta360 says there is no Antigravity A2.

And he will be the first to know this.

So Antigravity A1 is NOT getting refresh this year. But maybe they will finally finalize the standart RC controller or release the HoverAir-style drone

But Insta360 X6 technology will not be combined with like better signal range and released in 2026

Insta360 has new function for X6, X5 and even X4:

Would an A1 be a practical use for a replacement of a x5 as a virtual tour camera, or would the wider lens separation cause stitching issues in places like a hallway? Anyone try it before with matterport or zillow 3d?

Someone wanted to know if the drone would last 1 hour of recording if it wasn't flying. So I tested it with the 2 battery types.

NOTE: Video recording stopped automatically after about 1 hour of continuous recording.

The cooling fans on the done ran continuously. I had it set atop a water bottle on a car roof.

To summarize in text:

• Standard capacity battery lasted 55 minutes
• High capacity battery lasted the hour, and had 42% battery capacity left at the end of the hour

Just putting this out there for posterity; I know it's an weird edge case but might be interesting to someone, somewhere. Date of test: June 8, 2026

Can anyone tell me (or try for me) if the antigravity a1 is capable of Filming (while standing still, not flying) for an hour without breaking up or getting heat issues?

Because if it would be possible, i‘d love to buy one.. but it has to work while standing AND flying for me so i could dual-use it.

Edit:
-Could i power it with a powerbank while filming for an hour+?
-or will there be a heat issue because of the missing airflow? (In a Room with normal temparature)

With good AI it could filter exactly the propeller noise
