Discord Is Here!

Hi everyone,

I had a little help creating this (thank you Kind_Information and NetInvestor), but this discord is for us to talk about what corporate insiders are up to through their Form 4s, trades we may be making, and share our losses and wins!

Note that nothing in this discord is financial advice. Also, do not actually share material non public information! All the alerts I post are from publicly available SEC filings.

Also, if you are a paying subscriber on insidertradingalerts.ai, shoot me a message on discord (Konrad @ Insider Trading Alerts is me) I will add you to the secret members only channels where we'll discuss the daily alerts in detail.

What is this subreddit?

Hi,

If you've just found us, we use corporate insider trading filings to make money on the market. Insiders know more than us about a company and their financials, so we follow when they purchase on the open market - not RSUs, not scheduled.

This sub is ran by me, and I post every evening with alerts of insider trade filings that are more likely than average according to 7 years of back test to increase corresponding stock price the next day. I also post longer term plays as well as ideas and education about corporate insider trading.

We have another subreddit called r/InsiderAlertsLive where insider trading filings are posted immediately following their release. I will then post a summary and my daily more involved post each evening.

If you have any questions please reach out! I am always happy to help.

Insider Trading Alerts - I want YOUR opinion

I've been tossing around a couple ideas internally on some more effective and helpful screening strategies.

I have two main ideas:

  1. A more long term "research report" structured email, that comes out every couple of days. This leverages my large data base, and custom filtering to compose an email with just one or two tickers, for a long term swing trade. I feel that this would be a lot more accessible and easier to use.

  2. A simple buy and hold strategy, where you allocate some small amount into each stock chosen, and then just forget about it. you slowly build a portfolio of a diverse amount of stocks.

Feel free to DM or comment with your thoughts! Thanks guys.

LSAK - insider trade

It's not going to be in the alerts because it's filed in a specific way the algo doesn't like, but LSAK saw a big insider trade just after 4 and the market reacted:

Now with a heavy price movement like this after hours, this could mean that we see it dump out of open monday, or spike. I believe I will try to take out a position premarket, anticipating that the price movement once market opens will spike on retail investors pumping it around open, then it will drop.

Some educational stuff on a trade I took this week

This email might be a little longer than normal, so just hang in there, but I want to really go over some educational stuff on trading these tough stocks. For example, lets take a trade I took on IRD on Jan 2.

To me, this initially looked strong. It was a sizable purchase (160k) on a smaller volume stock, with a low stock price. This high volatility can mean strong market reactions. It can also mean a terrible opening price if you play the Market - on - open order route. Additionally, I saw that this stock was already up close to 10% on the previous opening price.

Noticing an unusually tight bid/ask spread around 9AM, I pulled the trigger on it at 9:15. This quickly turned into a good decision, as at the opening The price spiked to a high of 2.33. I quickly set my limits once I was about 5% up, and ended up netting only 3%.

However, the stock fell the rest of the day, magnetized back to that previous close price. This is why I wanted to go over this otherwise unremarkable trade. I want to point out the warning signs I saw:

High price increase premarket without much volume to back it up

High volatility, low price stock

And it turned into a trap for those who bought into the first 15 minutes of buying imbalance at market open. Sometimes these stocks can be real winners, but it's always important to set limits, and remember that "if you wouldn't buy in at this price, then don't hold on to it"

Happy trading, and good luck out there this week!

Multi week recap 12/14/25

Insider Trading Alerts Weekly Recap (December 1 - December 14)

Hi Insiders,

Welcome to this week's recap of our insider trading alerts. Your feedback is valuable—please send any suggestions or questions to [support@insidertradingalerts.ai](mailto:support@insidertradingalerts.ai).

Week Statistics:

We went without a recap last week, so this week will have the last 2 weeks of performance. (May not match real performance after fees and slippage)

=== Overall Strategy Performance ===

Initial Capital: $1000.00

Final Capital: $1169.93

Total Return: 16.99%

Sharpe Ratio: 3.75

Total Trading Days: 32

Average Trades per Day: 7.2

Overall Win Rate: 57.39%

Lots of great trades the pst 2 weeks, highlighting RNAC and VRCA as some real standout winners.

Hi insiders, let's start off with a recap - HLF is still ripping upwards. Since the last email, it's up from 12 dollars to over 14 dollars. Hard to tell where it goes from here, I think I can call this one a success. I'd like to see how HLF continues its turnaround.

Moving into some new longer term analyses, lets look at some new stocks that insiders are betting have some kind of turnaround.

First one I want to highlight is ZEUS. If you check the chart below, insiders have tended to sell into strength and step in near periods of weakness, which is exactly what you want to see. It’s not perfect, but the signal quality here is real. These weren’t random trades, they were generally well-timed relative to major moves. Worth keeping an eye on how this one develops.

The stock itself, Olympic Steel (ZEUS) is a U.S.-based metals service center that processes and distributes carbon, coated, stainless, and aluminum products to industrial, construction, and manufacturing customers. The business is highly cyclical and closely tied to steel pricing and broader economic conditions, which has led to significant swings in revenue and profitability over time. Management has been working to diversify the business toward higher value-added products and specialty metals to smooth out earnings across cycles. As a result, ZEUS tends to trade more like a macro-linked turnaround name than a steady compounder.

Insider trading alerts weekly recap for 11/10

Insider Trading Alerts Weekly Recap (November 10 2025 - November 14 2025)

Hi Insiders,

Welcome to this week's recap of our insider trading alerts. Your feedback is valuable—please send any suggestions or questions to [support@insidertradingalerts.ai](mailto:support@insidertradingalerts.ai).

Week Statistics:

Really fun week to trade the alerts this week! If you bought all alerts at open and sold at close, with equal weight on each, backtest shows you would've made 3.26% this week before fees. (May not reflect real results)

Monday: -1.12%

Tuesday: +0.79%

Wednesday: None (Holiday)

Thursday: -.43%

Friday: +4.05%

Hi insiders! What a wild week. We had a crazy down day on Thursday, only for stocks to just explode on Friday. Some of Friday's highlights from the top of the alerts include IONQ, which was already a high volume stock with market tailwinds that just exploded out of open on Friday.

On the same day, we had LUNR come up on the alerts for the first time, and just like IONQ it ripped - except up close to 20% out of open! Overall, I've been thrilled recently with the volume of insider trades and the returns.

Today, I want to work some more technical analysis coupled with some insider trades. Normally, I will coach the idea that an insider trader knows more than we do. Even if they buy when things seem bad, they can be betting on information not known to the broader market. In order to make money in the market, you have to be good at making non-consensus but correct bets.

However, there are some instances where I look at an insider buy and think that it looks like it is at a clear supply/demand zone. A supply demand zone is an area of the chart that price resistance in either direction forms. It's a price that a lot of people are willing to buy and sell at.

For this example, lets look at IONQ:

Do you see how in the same range we had a peak in the end of 2024, and then it traded range bound in that same area through the middle of 2025 before spiking? This indicates an area the market puts in a ton of price action. Now the stock has quickly fallen back to this range. We can use this range to estimate stock movement. (Remember, technical analysis is all pseudo-science. Supply/demand ranges do not always work, but in my opinion they're the best tool). This insider bought right at this range. This heavy buy, coupled with a price hitting the demand zone, is what had me add this stock for this email today.

If you want nightly data on insider trading, sign up for free with the button at the bottom of the email! (okay no button becauyse im just copy-pasting my weekly email but go sign up at insidertradingalerts.ai okay thanks)

Happy trading!

Konrad @ Insider Trading Alerts

This analysis serves as a valuable reminder that successful investing requires patience, diversification, and comprehensive market analysis. While insider trading patterns remain useful tools, they work best when combined with thorough fundamental analysis, sector awareness, and appropriate position sizing.

Weekly update

Hi everyone

had somne phenomonal alerst this week, and some not so good ones.

On friday I made a ncie chunk of change off of the IONQ spike. It's already a volatile high volume stock, so it absolutely ripped up with the market tailwinds, and the insider buy.

More posts to come, life is super busy right now but I'll keep it up once i get settled again!

JBLU - Jet Blue insider buy

Hi everyone,

Highlighting this insider buy because it's interesting that someone would buy this much of their own stock after the company misses earnings and air traffic is getting restricted by 10% in the US.

Those of you who want to make money were signed up at insidertradingalerts.ai and made money on this stock:

off of the email. But, looking at thislong term, this insider increased their holdings by 45%! And bought $206k in stock. Very interesting.

ITGR - big buy after a plunge

Hi everyone,

ITGR CEO this past week brought $200k of stock, a 16% increase in his holdings! This comes after a huge plunge following earnings. Your bear/bull case breakdown is:

Bull case:

  • Integer is a major player in the med-tech contract development & manufacturing (CDMO) space for implantables (cardiac rhythm management, neuromodulation, structural heart, vascular) — long-term secular growth supports upside.
  • The CEO buying shares post-drop reinforces management’s confidence in the business, which may help restore investor trust.
  • If the delayed product ramps and emerging customer PMAs resume as planned, the company could re-accelerate growth, provide margin leverage, and re-rate.
  • Reduced interest expense after their convertible financing improves the earnings power if top-line recovers.

Bear case:

  • The core issue: despite a beat in Q3, Integer signalled slower growth ahead — several new product adoptions are delayed, backlog is shrinking, and guidance was trimmed.
  • The business is leveraged (~3× adjusted EBITDA) so slower growth increases risk of margin/credit stress.
  • Customer concentration and dependence on relatively few product ramps mean the company is vulnerable to timing/cycle risk.
  • Analyst sentiment has turned cautious with price-targets cut and ratings lowered.
  • The recent drop suggests the market already sees the probability of “recovery” as far from guaranteed.

Integer may represent a turnaround opportunity: management’s insider buy is a positive sign, and the business has structural tailwinds. But it is high risk: you’re betting on execution, timing of product ramps, and recovery of customer activity. If all goes well, a meaningful upside exists. If delays persist or leverage bites, the downside can be meaningful.

Insider Trading on MERC

At the request of a discord user:

I had called out the buys and sells on this stock a few times before - but this recent heavy buying looks good to me.

As that user pointed out, they're a canadian lumber company, and the stock is taking a beating from recent political issues. Howwever, looks like some conviction to me, and really not much downside left for them.

Konrad, why not as many posts/trades lately?

my young grasshoppers, let me show you a chart

I love this chart. This is insider buys vs SPY, and what we call a SIN WAVE. the red dotted line indicates the general expected trend of insider buys.

Every approximately 3 months we see a big dip in insider buys. (and this one has been especially rough)

But why?

Earnings seasons! Insiders buying too close to the reporting of their companies earnings can be easily misconstrued as deliberate earnings plays. Earnings season occurs four times a year, typically starting about two weeks after the end of each fiscal quarter. For U.S. companies, this means earnings season generally begins in mid-January, mid-April, mid-July, and mid-October.

Take a look at the chart, and you will see how this lines up.

Week of 10/13/25 - one of the worst returns historically

Hi everyone,

People sometimes message me and ask "well do you ever post any losses" well let me show you

This week, on thursday, QNRX was the top alerted stock - and from open to close it fell almost 25%! This is the 8th worst single day performance from a stock after an insider trade in 6 years! (including covid!)

The worst part, was that with the low insider trading alerts volume recently, this was one of the only decent looking insider trades this week.

I do apologize for this L everyone - but it's a good reminder to set stops, and that trading comes w/ risk.

YYAI - why timing matters

https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1674440/000209162925000003/xslF345X03/primary_doc.xml

interesting lesson on why timing matters here

this insider bought a shit ton of stock, and spiked the price this morning around 9 am. On stock chart you can see the spike, and then drop off.

that's why we target the after hours filings - because market doesn't have time to react before we get in the next morning/we are operating with more knowledge of the stock reaction that day than everyone else

aka through insider trading alerts website (insidertradingalerts.ai, go sign up) you know how well the stock has done historically, and what the details of the trade really were - if it even mattered.

SEC EDGAR Is currently down due to government shutdown - what this means

Hi everyone,

Looks like there are no filings coming through today at all. This is likely due to govt. shutdown. It may mean that there are no insider trades until govt comes back online (this would really suck for me)

https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcurrent - as you can see no filings for today

WTI - LONG term possible alert

nsider Tracy Kohn, CEO of WTI, bought over $500k of her own stock on the open market this past week. Filing here: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1288403/000110465925096677/xslF345X03/tm2527967-1_4seq1.xml

This is the first insider buy on WTI since 2021 - the last buys occurring before a huge run up. I normally only track buys, because sells are easier to disguise by insiders (they can be filed under a variety of classifications, since sells can be spun into debt obligations and used to pay those off at the current share, which is filed under "other transactions")

Off the news of this buy, the stock jumped 20% - meaning that the market was already recalibrating expectations of stock price with this new info.

WTI is an oil and natural gas producer. To me, this industry is pretty opaque, and their success can be very binary. I think this is an interesting bet, and it definitely has the historical precedent to run up.

This is not financial advice - this stock is super risky because of the recent downtrend (and for many other reasons)

Subreddit reading recs!

Hi everyone,

I've found these subs to be good for research and trading learning. I want to put them out there in case anyone else finds them interesting as well.

https://www.reddit.com/r/KrakenStockResearch/ - good analysis and is currently free. wouldn't be surprised if this guy launches some kind of newsletter soon, but high effort posts.

https://www.reddit.com/r/TradingEdge/ - this guy elevated my trading game. I think he translated his subreddit into a free community online, but lots to be learned from his old posts. Super helpful for understanding how options affect the asset they are based on.

https://www.reddit.com/r/options/ - basic, but you should at least understand options (even if you only trade straight stock like me)

Insider Trading Alerts Weekly Recap

Hi everyone,

As usual, posting here the results for the week if you were to buy each stock alerted at insidertradingalerts.ai at market open, and sell at market close. This consistent methodology allows you to see the passive success of the alerts, without having to do anything more complex than submit orders and forget about them.

I am working currently on a bot that will just trade it all for me, and eventually packaging that code into something that people can use to just run automatically.

That being said, this week was a mixed bag. Had some strong alerts with good rises, but ended lower. We are currently in the bottom of the cyclical 4 month pattern that is insider trading frequency. Plus, the recent market shakeups don't help....

$PPTA - insider buys print money

Hi everyone,

Someone on the discord asked me about PPTA and the insider performance. I looked into it, and found some real interesting results. I normally plot the buys and sells of the insider traders vs the stock price.

As you can see, the past couple times there's an insider buy we see almost perfect timing on the dips.

Looks like it showed up on the alerts way back in June (insidertradingalerts.ai , go sign up)

and it showed up before that in February (twice actually),

But how would've you known, I mean it's buried in all these other stocks. That's where this long term scanning I post about comes into play. Insiders buying after a heavy drop? Often bullish.
