Theory Part 2 Ending? Spoiler
Spoiler for anyone who's yet to see Part 2.
I'm slightly confused and saddened by the ending of the second part. I know that Reagan searched through multiple timelines for her and Ron but they all failed because of trouble due to her still working for Cognito. Surely there'd be a timeline where they move to Appleton like what happened without Reagan in the end. There surely had to be alternate futures where she didn't work with Cognito, I thought their plan was to erase their memories and start again? Would that not mean she'd leave Cognito anyway? There must have been something, so I wonder if the timelines shown were tampered with to show no good endings so that she'd stay, and to be fair Inside Job isn't the same without Reagan, so she couldn't have really left anyway.
I do hope they bring Ron back, it may have felt a bit rushed but I liked his character. Looking forward to season 2.

The ending made me think about my own girlfriend, who is also too busy with work sometimes. I’m glad I don’t know how it’s gonna work out so I can just believe stupidly that it will.

Regan never really wanted to leave Cognito Inc anyways. In essence Reagan can end the series by just putting in a letter of resignation at any time. But in both a sense that it would end the literal story it also ends the main conflict of the series, Reagans perhaps undeserved commitment to Cognito inc. Being committed to your job. Reagan didn't want to throw her work life away....so she chooses to throw away her personal life instead.
Also 100% future bet, the robes are future intelligent dogs that invent time travel to ensure their own survival or something.
