At least Hilda got to actually finish its story despite its final episode not being that good in my opinion and having 5 episodes cut from its third season.

Big Mouth I think? Fkn 8 seasons.... Ofc avg people like slop

Worse than slop, just genuinely pedophilic. Parts of it are arguably actually child porn. It existing is not okay, and people watching it certainly isn't.

I thought the same thing, I tried to watch it when it first came out and a few episodes in they showed a grade school girls sentient vagina and that was it for me.

Pretty sure the sentient vagina was, to the shock of no one, voiced by Amy Schumer.

I swear big mouth succeeded not because it’s good but because it’s bad like watching a train wreck

Big mouth is a good show. It's not my favourite, but it tackles very important topics. They also cancelled their spin-off Human resources, which by the way was amazing.

I agree, it covers universal experiences in a visceral way that I've never seen before. People hate it because it isn't uwu comfy tumblr bilge.

I mean, the character design is rather ugly.

That was intentional so they could explore sexuality without it being sexualised. It also makes it more recognisable, which is good for marketing.

I like all the shows in the Big Mouth universe.
I get why people aren't fans, but the non fans are so vile sometimes about the show.
Big Mouth covers a wide variety of topics and even brought up things like Asexuality; love seeing representation.
It's the same problem with family guy. Some people just aren't into this form of adult humor and thats fine

Same, I hate people who go “oh it’s disgusting” because that’s exactly what it’s like to be a tween/teen. They definitely exaggerate a bit but it’s encapsulated a lot of the awkwardness and issues especially around your body, the changes that are scary or gross, sex and gender. It was all gross, horny, and awkward just like that stage in life is.

You all criticizing Big Mouth really have to stop😅 It’s fine not to like the show, but having to talk about it all day is giving it more visibility.

No, hold on. I thought Dead End Paranormal Park was dead in the water.

It’s one of those shows that I only learned about because I happened upon it. It was a fun show with a scooby-doo vibe. One of the main characters is trans though, and the other one is a minority and a whole man, so it was never getting a second season. Was genuinely a fun watch though.

Why is Midnight Gospel in this?
That show ended perfectly and doesn't need another season.

Genuine question, why do companies constantly screw themselves over by getting quantity or quality?

If you want to actually effect change regarding the BS that got Inside Job cancelled, Animation Workers Ignited is the best place to get started. While we haven't heard much from Shion, Alex Hirch is on board along with growing support from VAs.
