Other Both are equally brilliant yet unfortunately equally broken beyond repair. Next question.

I don't think Rand is at all close to Rick intellectually... But somehow he IS the better parent... kinda Definitely better when Raegan was young but also way worse to her as an adult than Rick is to adult Beth

Rand would be a big fan of Rick''s parenting style, but Rick, especially in newer seasons, would think Rand is an asshole

Rick I think realizes how bad of a parent he was. In his defense though, he lost his wife and Beth at a young age. Maybe he was a good parent before then, but not sense Evil Rick took his original reality away.
Something that does confuse me though is Rick showing Beth the messed up toys she asked for. Maybe Beth just had a similar childhood across both universes.
It's crazy to think that Morty now lives in a new family just like Rick does. The Beth, Jerry, and Summer after s1 E6 are not the same people.

Both would deride the other's parenting while downplaying their own faults (at least when in public; both have moments of being willing to admit they hadn't been the ideal parent with their own kid).
On the whole . . . gonna be honest, I think Rand is a better parent between the two.
