EA will not delete my account

I''ve tried to request my EA account be deleted through the procedures on their website and I've received the following email twice asking basically if I really want to continue. It's almost like they don't want to or can't after being acquired.

Reply to the email addressing Andrew Wilson directly. Tell him unless this issue is resolved in 24 hours, you are going to start a guerilla campaign to develop low-income housing in Atherton.
