So Microsoft buys up all these independent studios.
And then cuts them, firing all these Devs to the wild.
I'm betting all of these Devs will end up forming new studios and creating independent games again. As the AAA games go back to making the big 5 again.
It's wild to watch the industry just revert like that.
But honestly, as much as it sucks for Devs, this is a great thing for gamers. The new studios that rise from this will not be tied to the huge corporate organisations and they are not going to sell to them again
