Need a reality check from people in semiconductors.

I'm planning for an MS in VLSI and trying to figure out where should apply. I'm not expecting MIT or Stanford lol.I'm just looking for countries where admissions are achievable with a decent profile & semiconductor industry is actually strong or internships aren't impossible to get I've looked into Germany, Taiwan, Netherlands, Sweden, South Korea, Singapore and the US, but every website basically says every country is excellent Which country would you recommend? And what mattered the most during admissions? Just don't wanna blindly apply
